Late on this (and think I may have told GYERO this before), but I worked on the Rupp Arena Student Seating project with Jimmy Glenn to help create the Erupption Zone. These millennial kids need to appreciate their tickets, dammit.

Also, Julia has been added to the spreadsheet.

The Commons was dope. Im sure people griped about campus food but I loved just about everything.

Diversity was key and your rotation had to make sense. Commons, Ovvids, K-Lair were the obvious heavy plays. Also the Food Court at the student center may have been the most segregated place in the entire state. There was no sitting with other races at all circa 2000-2004, as I recall.

Honestly, I invited a gal just because I was terrified of what kind of hell raising the single me would get into in Vegas.

Gonna be rough enough as is.

I told her about it when I bought the tickets. She didn't really show much interest, until you all made it weird.

I think the biggest surprise of all is Pti staying at a luxury hotel on the strip. And actually plans on hanging out with the crew. No ultras or marathons this trip?

I can help you with how it would go.

You'd come in hot, drink a ton of bottle Miller Lite, maybe take a shot or two. Work your way to the oldest/worst chick in the bar, mumble something incoherent in her ear, hold hands with her for a few hours, end up fully clothed on your bed around 3a with sportscenter blaring and stay in your room for the next 30 hours until you struggled to your flight home.

Ummm that was not on us, pal. You may have mentioned it but we were just discussing plans like normal people. She was completely surprised you were going to Vegas. Don't put that on us.

I don't think Ms. Doc Boat was surprised he was going. She knew he was going. She was just surprised that it was all couples going and like 60 people.

Also, I used to be the manager of the Student Center Game Room in 1998-99.

Could set the tone for a big chunk of the rest of the year. Win that one, thump #BirdGang and then we're rolling into SEC play, sitting pretty for a 1 seed.

Drop that one, then UofL is a must win, and our last chance for a marquee dub until Kansas.

Predictions for the line? Probably UNC by a couple. Hey one of you Rockefellers with a KenPom subscription, what does he have as the score for the UNC game?

Sloot was such a dork early in college. We saved her.

Sometimes wish my wife would have had a crew to influence her negatively at some point. I try my best, but she's pretty set in her ways at this point.

- Watched ELF last night with the lass. No good.

- Afterwards switched over to Christmas Vacation. Much better. Appreciate the scene where Griswold has peace and quiet in his own home staring into space daydreaming about that pool.

- Got a real tree last Sunday from a fella downtown near Waterfront Park. Fraser Fir looks dope in the living room next to the fireplace. Need to pick up some fresh greenery tomorrow mng to finish decorating. No time for fake trees.

- Little lass gets all fussy at times in the house but for the most part she does really well when outside the house. Took her to Mellow Mushroom last Sat with a group for dinner and she slept the entire time. This past Tuesday we did a dinner and meet Santa deal at the P Club and she was great until Santa held her.

Last night took her for a ride in the car to calm her while I listened to a podcast. Win/win.


- Gotta get these leaves up tmw mng. Gonna be cold but the sun will be out which helps temendously.

- Enjoyed hearing Macy and Goose Givens on KSR ystdy. Awesome stories. The behind the scenes stories about recruiting and specific games from former coaches & players fascinates me.

- Think this team will eventually be a group of terrors defensively. Things have come too easy at the beginning and they have to become patient to guard for the full possession even if they don't get the quick turnover.

Have a little thing for Sarah Spain of ESPN/ATH. That's a woman. Assumed she would be married to a black dude, but turns out to be a Real Estate billionaire instead.

Facebook sucks in a lot of ways, but the 'Memories' deal isn't one of them; what a great feature. Enjoy those notifications nearly every time.

This one popped up today. I'm not sure what that was....GOOD LORD! [laughing] Will never be topped as far as free throws are concerned.

I know this may come as a shock, but I also have friends other than you guys. When I bought my tickets to the game, I was not aware that this was AN ALL COUPLES TRIP OMG.

I mean, I've been on dozens of trips with you guys. It's pretty much always the usual suspects. Most of you are married. Not sure what made this one a designated ALL COUPLES TRIP.

One of the best parts of youtube is the column of associated videos. From just that one free throw video posted earlier, im now into the top 10 college basketball fights, which was topped by Georgetown fighting a Chinese team during a goodwill exhibition back in 2011. The confusion among the Chinese onlookers is astounding.

Speaking of youtube videos, I watch that Frankie Vision 10 minute highlight reel of the Governor's Cup 5x a day. What a game. Magnificent.
