-With us shooting so poorly from outside Mulder is going to have to play. Teams, not the next big one, but after that are going to start packing it in. Can't have Briscoe and Fox(like UCLA) out there shooting. Those are wasted possessions. Pretty simple, use Dom when we need to lock down a guard that is gashing us and use Mulder when we need to spread out the floor.

-Dean Dome was rocking last night.

-Speaking of, it's only a matter of time until the students lose a big chunk of tickets. Suckers are way to valuable to have huge holes in the crowd during games. Bench side upper level was 60% last night and End Zone was 80% full.

-Rupp in game has some annoyances this year. They have all these new toys and don't know how to use them. Good: Music, eliminating "Mony Mony", Scoreboard, increased use of the band, lighting. Bad: Cheerleader getting a microphone, eliminating the C-A-T-S pregame cheer, using Ravi and that hot chick too much during timeouts.

-No Christmas shopping has taken place, haven't really even thought about it. ****.

-As bad as UK marketing is, they didn't give out red lights to their fans during an prostitution investigation.

* Sunday --> the lady friend hooked us up with a spa package at the Palms. Massage, turkish bath, that sort of thing. Should be a nice way to wind down after two days of heavy rage mode.

* I actually like seeing Brad Calipari out there on the court. I mean, it's the ultimate NOT GIVING A TOUCH move by Coach. He's basically telling the world "my team is so good, i can play my son every single game, and none of you can say s*** about it."

Earned, not given.

* Aroldis Chapman --> He's never been worth $17 million. He's not now. He never will be. But I also don't see his performance tailing off much in the next 5 years. He's only 28, and the contract is "only" for 5 years.

The per season salary isn't what kills teams in free agency. It's the crazy length of the contract (8-10 years, for many sluggers), and the predictable effects of age. It's not a great deal for the Yankees by any stretch, but it won't kill them, either.

* Bam Add-uh-boy/bay/boo/bow/bae/bee-oh.

* Lane Kiffin to Houston? That would, finally, be a job he's actually qualified for.

Have not bought anything. Will take 7 minutes later today, get on Amazon and complete the entire shopping/buying/shipping process.

The Yankees had to make the deal for the 5 years, and i'm pretty sure the way they are trending with their roster- they'll have a nice 3 year window, right in the middle of the Chapman years, of being the best (or most talented) team in baseball again. They werent going to tread water for very long.

Great call on the spa day. Best way to come home somewhat normal after Vegas. Just make sure to chug water, if not you'll end up sore as **** and even more hungover.

I was expecting at least as good as Wall from 3 from Fox but he is in the Wayne Turner/Rondo category. I guess Monk being much better than I thought he would be balances it.

In required CE classes all day today. Getting stabbed in the eye with a fork might be more enjoyable. Might make more sense to go to specialized classes during the year, but that would require planning and effort. Can't wait until my phone dies around lunch.

Any thoughts on new Android phone? Pixel? S7? Anth?

I'd like to bust Anth's balls but the coconut water hangover cure may have been the best discovery ever. Sure it does not work on shotfests but I rarely even do that anymore. I pretty much pack on every business trip and pack a sixer for my Japan trips.

I love my S7 edge. Battery life is good, great camera, excellent screen. I'm very interested in the pixel though.

-AfroGermanSanta actually discovered coconut water. I just endorsed it. Still works. As does a large coke, egg mcmuffin and hash brown from McDs.

-Dane Bradshaw is really, really solid on the SEC Network. Guy needs an increased role.

-Ben Simmons, now Markelle Fultz. I mean, surely the next wave of kids will learn from their mistakes, right? Michael Porter(the one who's not a sex offender) signed with Romar, but that's only because his dad is an assistant there, so that's understandable. But it looks like the rest of the class signed with either solid programs or knowledgeable coaches. But what a waste....two years in a row.

-GYERO parents need to read "Love That Boy" by Ron Fournier. Only halfway through, but so good. He wrote it about his relationship with his autistic son, but there is good stuff for parents of all kinds of kids in there.

-The annual "day off from work to go Christmas shopping with the Mrs." is tomorrow. Smaller crowds, don't have to worry about the kids, and it's always fun to know that the office is going on without you. Hopefully pull a veteran move and wrap it up by 11 so we can have a nice lunch and an early movie before school lets out.

-Bing Crosby owns Christmas music, but Nat King Cole is right there on his heels. As for the ladies, it's Darlene Love, then everyone else, basically.

-Late.

Greg Mcelroy has also become pretty damn good in studio. I wanted to hit him with a bat the first time I saw him, he just has one of those faces, but he's actually pretty good these days.

Sorry pal, but many of us UK grads remember locking arms in solitude with Jimmy Glenn back in the late 90s, fighting for student rights and ticket equality, while you were being all uppity at your prestigious catholic school.

We've fought too hard over the years for you carpetbaggers to take that away from us real UK students.

They have official student ball boys that run up and get the ball for the officials, Max. Anth was pretty good at it, I've been told.

Fun Fact: My Dad took me to hear Rick Pitino speak at Knights Hall back in the Camelot days. Place was sold out. Guy signed autographs in the parking lot for a good half hour afterwards.

Different times, man.

Hopefully the ESPN guys figure out what Anthony has about McElroy. Especially considering he has already become one of their top 3 PBP guys.

I think for the 1st 6-7 years of my GYERO involvement, I was under the impression that wcc wasnt a UK grad and had only been to Lexington once or twice.

Comments like that always put in perspective just how long we've been doing this. I know it's been discussed, but goodness gracious we've been at this a while. Pretty cool.

-almost 10 years for me.

-least busy radiologist in the commonwealth? Volume poster..

-my wife needs to hit the pavement a bit but man, some of these east end hausfraus are out of control. A friend of mine's wife has spent close to $1200 on hair extensions (she isn't black either). WTF? I think I would leave mine for something like that.

-overnight brisket smoke tomorrow night in 19 degree weather. Really looking forward to it

- I'm more Blue than any of you MFers. Everyone knows it. That's why I'm always brushing off the haters here. Jelly much?

- Llama- did you read Daugherty's book about his daughter?

- Seriously, Mitch, wtf is Ravi doing out there at timeouts? What is the matter with the band, the fight song and our dopeass dance team? Frankly, I appreciate the downtime.
