Love watching the bowl games. Good to see how conferences match up with each other. Also seems like a major party of the whole holiday equation.

Man, no doubt. Im counting down the minutes for that Quick Lane Detroit Bowl of Maryland vs Boston College. Should be some high quality football. Idaho-Colorado St. is another cant miss game to see how the conferences matchup, as well Old Dominion-Eastern Michigan. I mean that bowl slate that CoolCat posted is UNREAL. I printed it out and hung it on my fridge so I dont miss a single game!!!!!!!

 College bowls are complete and total dogshit except for about 5 of the 40 games. Its BY FAR the worst post season of any sport in the world. Its complete garbage and I wont watch a single game until New Years Eve day.

Any of you frequent travelballs @anthonys735 @ukguy78 @B.B.d.K. @LadyCat92 have suggestions for solid luggage?

Parents offering to buy us "nice" luggage this year and I'm trying to find decent deals online buy so hard to gauge quality.

TIA wildcat friends

No personal recs, but I've always heard good things about Briggs&Riley and Rimowa. Checked luggage takes such a beating that I've always been hesitant to shell out for anything really high-end. I've just gone the route of replacing my Samsonite stuff every three years or so.

Perfect antidote to any lingering negativity about U.K. basketball from yesterday: at the UC game vs Bowling Green. This is pathetic, even compared to X, let alone U.K. And they think they're a basketball school.

Loaded up on some travel pro this summer at Macy's. Had a bunch of discounts, got their high end stuff on the cheap.

Maybe this is too much common sense but why don't you ignore the emails if you don't have time to answer them?

Thought I'd stop in this morning because it's been a while since I've had my intelligence insulted.

-TaxSlayer Bowl [banana]. Really proud of those guys. Makes it even better we cost UofL an Orange Bowl bid in the process.

-I LOVE our :basketball: squad this year. Not concerned about Saturday's loss. Guys just need to keep playing. Although, Willis repeatedly passing up open looks is maddening.

-UCLA is nice AF.

-Season one of Westworld was better than GoT's first season imo. Not sure how they are going to be able to keep it up though. Seems like a lot of shows that have came out fairly recently start out with killer first seasons and follow it up with a dud (Bloodline, True Detective, etc).

-Working on a KSR post for tomorrow that I'm having a tough time with, so I need some opinions.

I'm making an 8 team NBA Jam style tournament bracket, each team is a Cal era duo. I'm seeding the teams 1-4 in two different regions. I'm gonna post the first round match-ups with individual interactive polls so the readers can decide who moves on.

Who would you choose for the rosters/how would you seed them?

I've got:
1. Wall/Cousins
2. Monk/Adebayo
3. Goodwin/Noel
4. Murray/Lee

1. Lamb/Davis
2. Booker/Towns
3. Knight/Jones
4. Harrison/Randle

It was harder seeding than I thought it would be when basing it off of what works in NBA Jam as opposed to how good the players are individually.

-Go back and forth of Emma Stone, of course she's hot but then sometimes I'm like her mouth and eyes are too big. Red heads, though.

-Speaking of, facetimed with PTI/monkeydoctor last night. Dude, if you make my wife fall in love with another girl and leave us with baggage again I'm going to kill you.

-Should be interesting totting a 1.5 year old around the Southeast and Jax for this bowl game. He loves him some sports though and the grandparents will be in tow.

-Hollywood Casino is an interesting place. I mean that, not sure if it's greasy good or greasy awful.

-Time for a winter time sports coat. Suggestions?

-Stayed up way too late entertaining guests then watching Westworld. Feel like it has tons of direction it could go but it'll be hard to top that first season. Man, Delores and Maeve are saucey. Bullish on Clementine.

-Little man went stiff as a board protesting Santa pics yesterday. :joy: Was all about the miniature horses that were apparently present at the birth of JC.

-Ulis/Davis and you all can have the rest.

-Hopefully Brohm heads off to Baylor. Don't need Cincy gaining any recruiting momentum in our 2nd state.

^ I assume Slice was pairing those that had played together based on his pairings, though that may be worth spelling out. Agree w/ Poythress for Lee.

That was the idea but he went plank position on me. Power move. Just stiff as a board.

Poythress been going off in the D-League, which is kinda surprising to me -- didn't even think he'd make a dent down there.

Dude as been averaging 20+ over the past few weeks. :fire:

Poythress and Lee is what I couldn't decide on. Probably will switch to Poythress. They had to play on the same team. Didn't go with Ulis because his game isn't suited as well for NBA Jam as Murray. Short players get everything blocked.

Ulis/Towns over Booker/Towns. They played together and you just can't leave Ulis out.

I'll defend leaving Ulis off. You don't need a "floor general" in NBA Jam. That's Ulis's greatest strength. He did this by team. To put Ulis in he would have to exclude Jamal Murray or Devin Booker. Both players' skill sets are ideal for NBA Jam.

Plus the game is called NBA Jam not NCAA Jam. No chance in hell Ulis has a better NBA career than either of those guys.

It's well-established that layups are harder to block than jams on NBA Jam. That's why Muggsy Bogues is such a tremendous pain in the *** on there.
This is why Lamb would be dope af. He never dunked the ball and would be killer from 3.

If you are going to do this right you need to find someone who will photoshop the players into their own NBA jam cards like someone did for current NBA players complete with skill ratings.
