This is an absurdly one sided take. UCLA has blown out bad teams.
UCLA is a team you outscore. I don't think holding them to less than 80 is feasible.
I just LOVE those loose ball foul calls on Hump resulting in free throws for UCLA - 90 feet away.
Got to hear Nessler say that Hump was "too aggressive."

UCLA is a damn good team that could win it all.
I do think that they will wear down today and the shots will quit falling for them eventually.
Not sure I'd want to see them in the tournament before the final 4.

Why is everyone hating on Humphries? He got called for two terrible loose ball fouls. They were especially terrible given Leaf was climbing people's backs all half.
Uk will be alright, 20 minutes to go, I don't believe ucla holds up at this pace for 40 minutes, UK by 10 plus, alot of shots made 1 on 1 fading away by ucla
We slacked off on D to avoid foul trouble. Refs have let them away with more than they have us. Why do we always get Shows for the big games? He is terrible.
Bam has defended him well when he's been switched onto Ball. Contains him and when he doesn't, he forces him to where there is help. I have no complaints with Bam's on ball defense. Now his rotation into helpside is another story, along with all of our bigs. We have been VERY slow rotating to help.
I'm anxious to see the second half. This is the first truly legit opponent the Cat's have played. Win or lose this game is good for the team but I still like our chances to pull this one out! Hopefully our boys lock in and get the W!

The stats say to me that UCLA is likely to play even better in the 2nd half if they take care of the ball. The first five minutes are key. Alford needs a timeout down 4 at the 15 minute mark or something...The crowd needs to get LOUD.

I'm sorry but Wenyen is not a better defender. He keeps blinding some due to his hustle but he's constant beat to the basket on drives and some just continue to ignore that every game, he also gives up jumpers because he plays so far off players. why do you think Cal subs him out as much as he does? It's not due to lack of offense or not going for rebounds, he gets subbed out every single time because of his defense. He only goes back in because Willis plays bad defense and doesn't hustle as well and Hump makes bone headed plays on offense and defense
So.....ucla picked up their 5th foul with 15:50 to go. They didn't get another one until 6:26 while committing numerous, blatant fouls. Being allowed to cheat must be nice.
I guess it's time to start bashing Briscoe again I see. Rebounding and shot selection were horrible! Cats needed a good test. Why the 40-0 talk is so ridiculous with the young team that we got

What game are you watching? Hawk has been solid all year for us. I'd take him over Briscoe any day. I don't get all the love for Briscoe. All he has improved on is his free throws. Dude continues to make bad decisions with the ball.
