I don't wanna jinx it but I still say we win by 13+. Hope I'm right. To many factors against them. A 9am game for them, and hell this is their 1st time leaving that liberal country they call Cali!
Kenpom says UK by 10. I think it will be a larger margin, by mid to upper teens. First road game for them (first time to leave California) and an early start, UK scoring as well as they are, but playing at home. I expect a great crowd at Rupp to understand the significance of this game. UK's defense is good enough to slow them down. It all spells a win for UK.
I think I agree with you, but I think the gamblers will buy into the hype and bet this game down even closer, maybe even down to 5 by tip.
That's really low... thought it would open at UK -11/12.

Vegas has missed the opening line on this UK team pretty bad in every game and we've only failed to cover once.
They had Arizona State +16. We nearly tripled that.

No chance. It'll move the opposite way, 100%. I'd be surprised if it closes in single digits.

Agreed. If I were a betting man and I see this line being bet down, I'd wait a bit and then bet on UK to cover. I think this UK-8 is almost a sure thing right now.
People keep talking about Ball, but the Cats have 3 starting guards and 2 guys coming off the bench who can take turns on him.

Add 12 to that and I think you'll be pretty close. Any team that runs against this UK team is gonna die tired. They don't have the athletes or depth to do it.

Agreed. I meant legit as in they can match up with UK's talent and keep it close. I def think they can---but it would require UK to play below their potential to achieve that. I do not believe the UK that showed up vs ASU could be challenged by UCLA
