Dear Kentucky,

If you can make wishes come true, please win the national championship this year.

Go Big Blue !
- Runt

ps - And if you can, would you mind too terribly much beating Kansas 150 - 94 this year too? :sunglasses: (the 94 would be holding them to one point less than what we scored on them, in one of those 150 - 95 games - once upon a time)

thanks !

Enfuego is obsessed with UK. Even the KU fans on his site hate how much he seems to care about UK. He's made 4 UK posts/link in one week about UK

They have like a 7 page thread of their posters whining about how UK fans are obsessed with attacking rival fans. Do they not understand the irony there?

Other topics in the thread include how UK hasn't beaten anybody fearsome (neither have they - Duke minus 2 or 3 starters doesn't count - but we've looked roughly 37 times better against our mediocre competition) and how we're a bunch of demented conspiracy theorists (RR is awful after a loss, but I've never seen 20 page meltdown threads like I have on Kansas's board after the annual bend-over that Self does for some mid major lucky enough to be matched with them in March).

It won't surprise me at all if we tattoo those Chokehawks by about 40 points. About the only elite player I see on that roster is Josh Jackson. The Eastern European kid don't scare me, and neither does Clifton Brag. We can definitely keep those scrubs in check.

Sorry bub but we have a PG who has more assists this year than Ulis had at this point in the season last year. You may have heard of him, he goes by the name Mr. Triple Double aka The General. Mason doesn't have a damn chance.

Interesting debate.. Fox or Ulis (lol at including Mason in this, distant 3rd).

Fox may have the athleticism and the speed, but man Ulis was such a true point guard. Dude rarely ever made a mistake. However, Fox could very well be better by season's end. In fact, he probably will be.

Is that the dude dominating the #263 schedule?

Better bring those refs you had last time.:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

They easily can............ Sirmons and Adams are SEC refs first and foremost and the 3rd in that game was Big 12 official Whitehead but he is now the head of officiating of the SEC... LOL

I can't wait till you bring your asses to Rupp.

You could take Duke and KU together and you still couldn't be within this UK team by 10 points.

You have no clue about the speed that is going to hit your mediocre guards. We're not talking 8 ball, we're talking 10 kilos all at once, son.

Is Kansas the team that lost to the team who lost to Ft. Wayne?

Kneeburns could have made his point in a more respectful way, but SOS is a valid argument. Kentucky has played a weak schedule so far. Basically, winning in what is glorified lay-up drills for your team, so it is hard to realistically evaluate your team. The athleticism and potential is evident, but the competition doesn't justify the hype. As a comparison, the Citadel beat ASU AT ASU and dropped 110 points on them. Should Citadel be #1 in the country? Are their players as good or better than Kentucky's? Of course not.

I think your first test is UCLA who you'll win because Calipari teams play defense. If you beat UNC, then your team is legit this year.

So, are you confident that Kansas will win?

Uhhh, Citadel did score 110 but they lost 127-110. Nice try though.

Why would I be jealous? KU is a top 5 team and title contender. I also said the talent is evident, the competition is TBD.
If that's the case, I'm sure glad we don't have to play IUPUFW!!! cause they beat the team that beat your team and since this is all about competition of opposing teams, were screwed!!!

Hahaha dude come on!!! You lost to Cream and IU on a neutral floor. FRIGGIN' INDIANA!!! You also have a coach who blows it in 1st/2nd round games to teams like University of Phoenix and ITT tech. If he does get past that then he still has to play the real teams. So come on man, KU isn't a slouch, but a title team? NAHHHH! But I guess we'll see in Rupp here soon how they stack up against our team who hasn't played anyone. If I were you, I'd hope it wasn't another 40 point loss like the one we gave ya a while back

The thing that should be scary to our Kansas fans here is the fact that ASU scored 127 against the Citadel yet only managed 69 against UK, losing by 46! That is, if he actually wanted to be somewhat objective. Hey, I'll grant that UK hasn't played a tough schedule, but it's the WAY Kentucky has been beating these teams that should impress any thinking person. Mich St isn't great but they went to Duke and gave them a tough game, despite the flopping clinic we all saw that was enabled by the zebras. Meanwhile UK dominated the Spartans by 21 on a neutral floor.

True. But at what point in a beat down does the opposing team simply give up (insert KU giving up against the beat down we took against Kentucky in 2015 jokes here :) )

Yeah, I guess you're right, and I shouldn't be surprised since you KnowAll. Apparently this UK team sucks, eh? It would actually help your credibility if you could just tell the truth about what you see, without attempting to argue a ridiculous case. Kentucky has won by an average of 30.6 points so far. Despite the huge margins, are you aware that this UK team has yet to finish a game with its starters still on the floor? Are you aware that no starter has played more than 30.7 minutes per game? Are you aware that 10 players are getting 10 minutes or more per game? In other words, UK has been so dominant that they don't even need their starters for more than 30 minutes. Nah, nevermind, you already knew that and had included it in your evaluation. Right?

From what I've seen so far, Kansas is definitely a top 10 team. UNC is a top 10 team. Villanova is a top 10 team. Duke is not top 10 right now, but they could be once healthy. Indiana and Louisville would be top 10 if they could play all their games at home. Baylor has looked pretty good. Xavier has looked pretty good. UCLA has looked pretty good. We'll find out about all these as the season progresses. One thing is sure, the champ is not crowned in November or December, and the landscape will change.

to be fair, the Citadel has the worst defense in the country. i imagine that a decent high school club like Oak Hill could easily score 130 against that defense. for the men and women at the Citadel, it's hazing first and sports second--which quite frankly is how it should be.

Kansas is a paper tiger & has been ever since the Great Toupee arrived in Low Rents. I don't think they are top 10 this year, last year, the year before that, etc. They R consistently in the 12 - 18 range probably. The big 12 championship streak is a joke. It is fake. In every big 12 game the opposing team gets treated just like MSU did at Duke the other night. Big 12 "Officials" are afraid to make calls against KU. I don't know why, but is is good for atleast 3 wins a year in conference play. For the most part, that changes in the tournament evidenced by the multitude of upsets & lack of living up to their annual overseed. Chickenhawk players seldom make any impact professionally, which further fortifies my point that the KU program is not elite & does not deserve, in any way, to be included in the discussion of NCAA championship contenders in this year or any other.
