Authorities believe the Ohio State University student responsible for Monday's attack on campus was inspired by terrorist propaganda from ISIS and deceased Yemeni-American cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, two law enforcement sources said.

Despite claims from the Islamic State's purported media wing that Artan was an ISIS soldier, there is no indication so far that Artan communicated with any terror group; evidence points to a lone wolf attack. Investigators are inspecting his computer and cell phone and talking to family and associates, as they try to determine what led him to act.

-------------------------------

So "inspired by ISIS" means "member" of ISIS? Got it.
Glad that's cleared up, I'm sure the people he attacked feel much better knowing he wasn't an actual card carrying member of isis.

Duke being the favorite obviously we're picking holes because they're flat loaded BUT I see a little UK 15 on the horizon. Who is getting left out when these guys get back? Will K really take shots away from guys he's comfortable with or can he bring these three along with Jackson (imo the real key)? Then who's going to play D over there?

I'm sure it makes no difference to them, obviously. But I think it does, or at least should, matter to the general public.

Which is scarier?

(A) A pyscho POS loser who is easily influenced by ******** radical muslim extremist propaganda and who then carries out a "lone wolf" attack?

or

(B) A person who had actual connections with ISIS, and worked with ISIS to carry out a planned and coordinated attack in America?

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like there is a difference.

Jefferson and Jeter will be the guys to really lose minutes and only two of those three will start. I think our boy Bolden will end up their sixth man.

Could be correct. I think Allen and Kennard are probably the safest two minutes wise. Allen is gonna get his and it wouldn't matter if his teammates were Curry, Westbrook, LeBron, and Cousins. He's K's "guy" now. He's made.

Well, if he were a hardened ISIS fighter, and planned a coordinated attack to hit a few people with his car and stab a few people (by himself ), I guess I'd consider that pretty lucky.

God forbid they have greater ambitions of mass destruction.

How in the touch does Amile Jefferson still have eligibility?

It feels like Gillispie recruited him back in the days before Twitter or something.

Exactly. Harrisons>Ulis/Booker

They have tons of scorers but Jones, Jeter, Jefferson are the guys that do the dirty work.

I want those touchers so bad. Watching MSU get into the lane at will last night gave me a semi.

Was it not Fraschilla during our pro day who said Bolden was as good as Okafor when they went off on their 3 minute spew on Duke? Or was it Greenberg? That was a real  moment.

As I said way back the media are treating these like they are going to plug and play and be great but team make up is not that simple. It never is, we have seen it here multiple times. They certainly have the talent to be great but they have zero clue how these freshmen will handle missing so much time to start their career and the players who are playing are comfortable playing without them. What happens is any ones guess.

Our team make up is pretty much exactly the kind of team that has traditionally given Duke fits especially in the NCAA tourney.

Unless Bolden can hit the glass like an absolute mad man (and maybe he can), there's 0 chance he supplants Jefferson. He's their only legitimate interior player until Jeter learns how basketball works.

Speaking of work, I'm pretty sure my co-worker is Boat. Some claims I've heard in the past few weeks:

~ First person to ever do bald and beard and make it look good. (100% serious will not back down from this take in spite of proof to the contrary)
~ Average drive off the tee is 320+
~ 30 inch vertical in high school
~ Sub 4.5 40 in high school
~ Best shooter in the state for two years.

That's just two weeks. Dude is a touch delusional. Also a Wake Forest fan who pulls "primarily" for Duke until Manning can get the Deacons turned around. At least he respects UK.

If you're in the market for a new Apple TV you can sign up for DirecTV's new streaming service and pay for 3 months up front ($105) you get one for free, even if you have no plans of ever cutting the cord that's $25 lower than the lowest price they've offered.

What a **** last 40 hours.

-Jefferson is the unsung MVP & leader of that team, he's not going anywhere -- he's been a fixture on the floor for 8-9 years there no matter WHO they've had. Maybe a slight cut in actual minutes in a Cal/UK type way, but not a role reduction by any stretch. He's one of the more valuable players to their team in CBB, imo. He excels at his role, would have killed for a guy like him on our team last year.

Who are we for tonight? This is about as tough as a game to root as I can remember -- I'd like UNC to be undefeated and the "#1 team" in so many people's minds when we thump them on a neutral court, but I also can't root for them to win, even against IU (who's already lost to a directional in-state school, so not worried about them).

Guess I'll root for the $$$, which I haven't decided yet either.

Tough call on who to root for. Selfishly I want UNC to be undefeated when we play them, so I guess I'll be rooting for them by default. Mostly, though, I'll be rooting for a lone wolf to shoot Tom Crean in the face.

I'm fully prepared to drop it, but if I keep getting called out I'm going to continue on, dig in, drag down GYERO, and **** in someone's driveway.
You wouldn't keep getting called out if your take wasn't so gall-darned ignorant. And my driveway gets **** in regularly anyway, so bring it... ISIS lover.

Just know, they would never have anything to do with your mangey beard growing abilities, Infidel. You could blow up a synagogue on Yom Kippur, claim allegiance, and they would see that nap on your chin and deny any relation.

In games like this, I usually can't decide until I start watching, then I'll get a feel for who I want to lose more. When IU goes on a run and their troglodyte fans start going crazy, I'll probably lean UNC. When UNC goes on a run and the announcers start talking about how they're the best team in the country, I'll probably lean IU.

Like you said, a UNC win could have them undefeated and possibly #2 in the country when we play them. #TeamUNC. On the other hand, an IU win would be good for Tom Crean's job security. #TeamIU.

A real Sophie's Choice, frankly.

Otherwise, #TeamNuclearHolocaust.

I apologize for being right, and I am sincerely sorry that a few of you are so incredibly poor at reading comprehension, and have a basic lack of critical thinking skills. Not a single thing I've said has been wrong.

80, look out your window at 2:30 a.m. tonight, and you'll see a bare-chinned, puffy faced guy in glasses dropping a fat turd right by your driver's side door.

You're correct. Funny sometimes to let these types of games get going and then let your innards take over subconsciously, they don't lie.

Watch out for the full bearded drunk guy wearing a 1993 Starter brand stadium coat that is drinking Popov and smoking cigarette butts. He'll be crapping or puking by the time you get there.

And you don't even know what you are arguing fool, nobody ever said the Ohio St ******* was a member of ISIS, just that there were connections and he carried out their mission. Which there are and he did.

Also, Lamar thinks you're gay.
