Look at the shape of those rocks behind Trae. Shaped like the state of Kentucky. He's ours. Done deal.Traes tweet yesterday says.... They will soar on wings like "EAGLES".. Boston College or Auburn may be in the mix now, unless i'm reading too much into this.
I was hoping you'd pick up I was using some quotes from JW in his movies...

Throughout his recruitment, Young's dad has said UK is upfront about their targets and that other players have no effect on Trae's decision.
Evan Daniels says we have no shot at him now. He seems to be the only credible voice saying that.
Honestly, I think Young and Green together would work, but I don't think he comes. Weakness is that both Young and Green are 6-1' at best. That's a little too small for a backcourt IMO.
Now I'm probably in the minority on that. Young would likely be in the traditional 2G slot meaning he would have to guard a much bigger 2G for other teams.
Cal puts a premium on defense. I am sure I am wrong, but that's my biggest downfall for Young.
I know Bledsoe was shorter but he was also an athletic freak.
Good point. So if young and Diallo come, Diallo plays the 3?I agreed at first but then thought about it. If you have the right players around then then it can work. Remember the Duke back court that won it all? Tyus Jones is 6'1 and Quinn Cook is 6 feet. Neither were good defenders in college either but both could score and both were very good shooters (Green isn't on either of the three kids level shooting from deep though)
The draft express guy...... that's where I get all my recruiting news. The draftexpress guy also says Young isn't coming to UK
Bamba is going to Duke in all likelihood. K has been recruiting him for longer than Cal has, he's good friends with Wendell Carter Jr. who is Duke bound and he knows that he has a better chance to win the championship next year on a loaded Duke squad that already has proven guards in Jackson and Kennard. Duke is leading UK in the Crystal Ball 61% to 39%.
I do think Trae Young will eventually wisen up and head to UK. You don't turn down a starting guard spot at UK for a non-Kansas Big 12 school if you are guaranteed playing time imho.
I predict Knox and Bamba go to Duke while UK gets Young, Vanderbilt and Diallo.
Carter to Duke. Young to Oklahoma. Bamba to Kentucky. The Crystal Ball is not the holy grail. Those guys are just guessing, like you are. And BTW, no player is guaranteed playing time at Kentucky. That's why our program isn't for everyone.Bamba is going to Duke in all likelihood. You tweeted Young wasn't coming to UK. Something changed between 11 am and now?think Cal finishes the class with Young, Diallo, and Bamba.
That'll likely give UK 5 McDonald's All-Americans as well as Diallo, who will be ineligible.
lmaoI was half mocking Evan. But Green's high school coach and that interview do make me wonder.
Man, following me on twitter may not be the best idea...especially on Saturday nights haha.
Bolden is gone...he's a mid 1st Round pick according to Givony. Cal didn't do anything to help AD become great like he did with Towns, WCS or Jorts...AD is a transcendental talent that would have flourished no matter where he went to college.Lol at Bamba to Duke with Carter, Knox and Bolden returning, and despite Green and the AD comparisons.
Lol at Jackson for sure coming back.
Lol at referencing the Crystal Ball after Quade Green.
Lol at Duke having a better chance to win the title next year.

I'm not sold on "recruiting experts" thoughts. We have his "best friend" Green and I guess you consider Texas his leader we will see how that works out for you. 100% believe he will not go to Texas. If your a prospective top 5 draft pick why would you do that to yourself?Actually now the majority of scouts are saying he isn't coming. Only UK fans or UK media is saying he still is coming.
The great hung about it is we will see just how right or wrong they are in a couple months
