Oldest sister used to live in Gary until the mid-80's. We'd drive up from Owensboro on Hwy 41, stop at the Big Peach for fruit and be on our way. I've done that trip in the back of a pickup holding a tarp over my head to keep out of the rain. #MoreRockwellianTales

Ready to be back home...was going to make the drive from Chicago to NC this weekend and stop in Lex for the game on Saturday, but think I'm going to leave early tomorrow and get to NC by tomorrow evening.

You driving in from Alaska?

Hopefully just from Anchorage, that's a lot closer than Barrow, LOL.

Indiana and Mississippi. Two worst states to drive across and not debatable. Actual Hoosiers from the interior of the state are ******* weird. Really strange group.

Glad another local kid got to be treated like a rock star for all the UK football games when he had already told another coaching staff he's committing to them!

Meh, way different. His camp had been making it clear that Bama was his leader for months. Harris didn't and it looked really bad at the time because everyone thought he was coming here. Good for Willis and the right call.

Flew into O'Hare last week after the election (won by double digits)...my car is here in Chicago, drove to Traverse City when I was working there.

I won't clog GYERO anymore. Please check my Facebook or Twitter for more on my travel plans. TIA.

Flying is a much quicker way to get to your destination.

Indiana sucks. There a reason middle America is called flyover country.

We done here? #bringbackchad

Would like for Mags to get into details of why Rowland is controversial. I mean, it's obvious, but juicy UK/dating gossip is always welcome here

I don't really pay attention to him because of how awful his bball takes are but the kid, from my perspective, treated it differently. Also, cool video. I've thought for months he was going to Bama and his crystal ball on 247 reflects this as well.

No thanks. Don't really care. Bitching about the kid here is enough. He could nuke this thread tomorrow if he wanted and ban us all. No reason to go over the top with the hate. Despite the fact that several of us have been here longer than he's been shaving, we're still just guests at his place of business.

Indiana is a really bizarre place, for all the backwoods, hillbilly **** Kentuckians put up with, as soon as you cross the river it's like stepping into a time warp 20-30 years ago. The term "corn-fed" had to come from describing Indianans because they all have this moon-faced, kind of pasty look like that at it's best emulates 80's Steve Alford but most of the time looks like Dwight Schrute. I never see these people in Louisville but pop over to Rocky's or Kingfish on the river and you see it all over

That was actually completely staged and there's security footage of the two morons embracing at some point before/after that bit of theater.

It's on CNN (not saying much) but don't see anything debunking that video. Seemed very legit hearing the tackled guy smack face first into the ground.

Chad's hiatus is planned, like a wrestling work (right, CoolCat)? He has a new job and can't post as much, he takes up for HillDawg, takes the protesters side, gets mocked, becomes offended, and then takes a hike. It's a well played, calculated storyline.

It's like when Hulk Hogan got his ribs busted up by King Kong Bundy. He needed to take a few weeks/months off to make a few commercials and No Holds Barred so he got "attacked" and went away for a while to rest up and come back better than ever.

We'll see Chad soon enough. And when he comes back, he'll be better than ever and more than likely engaged/married.

I don't have a "boss" or a schedule, Learn Insurance. It was just a nice gesture and recognition of my team-player attitude and willingness to cover a few Fridays by myself, which are probably busier in the office than Mon-Thur combined. We just try and make sure there's always an agent there to help out the girls, everyone is cool about doing their part.

Tuesday is my regularly scheduled out-of-office day. Sometimes I go in for the morning, sometimes I don't. Drives Anth nuts. :sunglasses:

I actually have a few properties to inspect, and some Little Caesar's Pepperoni Stuffed Crust Pizza to drop off to my peeps -- then, it's bourbon & basketball time around 3:30. #Cheers

Reddit doxxed the guy. He's a Hillary supporting Democrat with Asperger Syndrome. There's a reason why someone who is there ostensibly filming the protest has the staircase in the center of the shot with the speaker in the right of the video. His angle is perfectly framed to capture the entire event.
