Where's he headed?
I honestly haven't paid a lick of attention to him as he was never a UK target but I just know on other boards people have been saying he and Duke weren't a lock like it all seemed and he would end up elsewhere but if that is true or not I have zero idea as like I said if you aren't a UK target you don't matter to me one iota as UK will get theres so why should I care where someone else goes.

Uhhh no. A win's a win. I thank God that Marshall went down for UNC in 2012. I want wins to be as simple as possible.
This is how I have always looked at things as well. You need luck to win . Hell Duke's last 2 titles were built brick by brick with luck , especially the 2010 one . I mean look at that final 4 that year- LMAO x100.

Yeah, if you don't mind whiney little boys making excuses. I've got some Duke 'friends' that would agree with you. I never cared for asterisks. For my self, better to take everything you have and leave you with no hope or pride. We've pretty much done that to UL. Now they cling to conspiracy theories and hookers.

There are wins and then there are WINS.

I can't see Duke replicating this years class. They already won't have two top5 recruits again.. All their eggs are on the Carter/Knox/Bamba wagon, and there's no way they get all three. Not to mention a ton of 1ADs and some upperclassmen leaving.. would not be shocked if K is trying to ensure some of these guys come back. Nothing would surprise me from Duke/K at this point. They've scrapped the bottom of the barrel.

They'll get another Top 5 class , I guarantee it. As much as I hate them, they're a blue blood and they will get the best of the best if the space is available. Just like we do. I'd bet the farm they land in the Top 5 next year in recruiting.

Probably.. but it won't be what this class was. Granted, Giles now has serious health issues and *should* have dropped out of the top 5.

Also, this is assuming they get everyone they want.. They still don't have Carter, Trent, Knox and Bamba..

Butthurt about what, exactly? Duke now has five frontcourt players either injured or coming off injury. Jefferson, Obi, Giles, Tatum and Bolden. At least Duke still has a great backcourt and a true PG. Oh wait....

Well, how many years does anyone sign a class like they got this year? That's an extremely talented class and just doesn't happen very often. But the news Rivals prediction has them landing Carter, Knox, Trent, and Bamba. So, maybe they can duplicate it. Lol

That's kind of what I'm saying.. they can't duplicate it. The top2 recruits already went elsewhere. They could still have a great class, but it will never be as talented as the previous one.

They also have a good amount of holdovers. Guys like Jefferson and Allen.. doubtful they will have any returnees like that again. K will never have as good of a situation as he has this year.

In all honesty, Duke is facing expectations that are only a smidge less than Kentucky in 2014 when we returned a lot of talent and added an excellent class. They just have a few less bodies and are starting injured AF.

Also, there is no way they land Bamba, Carter, and Knox.. especially not with Bolden possibly coming back.

They won't get all three of them, but probably two.

I want UK to win a title. If they get to play the easiest possible path to do that, I don't care. I am not one of these that wants the other teams at full strength. Titles are very hard to come by.
