i started wildcatchat in '03 not '06. so the switch wasn't glitch free, but all posts transferred.

What does it matter with how many posts you enter? It's about the content , not the count. IMHO

you haven't heard the unwritten rule?

If you have low post count you are a troll
If you have high post count you are ex-coach, or is currently coaching with 20+ years of experience.

I do know that if you're a registered member of one site, say UK, and you post on another, say IU, your post count resets on IU's site. But keeps it the same for UK's. That explains a lot, IMO. Helps keep track of "visitors" (trolls).

No. I think I had a few hundred post before, and pretty sure they carried over. I think the like count reseted. IDK.

Didn't this site once have a moment of care about post when Catspause went somewhere else?

OP. Is it possible that you are remembering posts that you didn't actually do? Post inflation regression syndrome is what we doctors call it.
