Just talked to a friend of mine, who is a former player at UK. He says about 70 former players will be at BBMadness tonight.
So we heard four names from 96 team called. Which, not a lot, was about as many as most teams. Sheppard, Mills, Epps, and maybe Prickett. Plus ron Mercer was in the video. It was cool that they asked everyone back, but there were so many more names I didn't hear than I did. The whole 96 snub was way overblown. Jones might have had good information at the time but should apologize for jumping the gun and getting this all ginned up.

This was the list of players at the event last night, at least based on what was announced when they came to the stage. (I added the NBA players. I assume Skal was there although not sure he made it with DeMarcus and Willie or not.)
Anybody else there who was missed? Frankly I'm a little disappointed in the turnout. By my count there are approximately 350 current and former players alive today, while 60 former players showed up to go along with the current team. I was hoping for at least 150.
