Naming the scoreboard....

Anybody else enter? That's a hell of a prize so I did. Since all common entries are chosen by earliest entry, I thought it would be good to have a thread here discussing them.

Mine was Big Smooth. I wanted to tie in Bill Keightly somehow and that was one of his nick names and it also ties in to Big Bertha. I also thought smooth tied into the scoreboard itself because it is pretty damn cool.

Anybody else enter?

I went with "Blue Tube". Figure I use YouTube quite often to watch highlights and there will be plenty shown on the new video board so Blue Tube for me.

How can people be concerned with naming a video screen when we don't even have a name for our team yet? People need to get their priorities in order.

What do you call your tv? I call mine "the tv". Sometimes, due to familiarity, I just call it "tv".

Ummmm, because you don't win tickets to every event held in Rupp Arena for 2017 and get a tour of the locker room for ten for naming the team?

(btw, I know you're probably joking)

nicknames should be a natural thing, otherwise they just end up terrible.
I mean... why does that thing need a nickname anyway?

Big Bertha got one because it's the most ridiculous thing to ever hang from the ceiling of a building.

this is like Austin Rivers nicknaming himself 'Frozen' or whatever the hell he nicknamed himself.

I wanted to tie Bill in as well so I submitted "The Bill Board" as my entry.

I submitted "Cali" today. Best scoreboard in the country named after the best coach in the country!
