I would like a reality show where someone actually follows Joey Rupption's advice.

"By jolly, I will check out the British and French news channels for inspiration on graphic design for a tv show that is already in the can and, ohbytheway, I had nothing to do with. Thanks for the inspiration, old chap! Got any podcast recommendations?"

If you and your pal were allowed to rent a movie AND a video game on any given friday night... man.

We had a small town video store where the proprietor refused to work weekends and would give you a two for one on NES games that didn't have to be returned until Monday.

Oh sweet Jesus, it was awesome. If you got an A or whatever, you could talk your mom into four new games over three days. Nirvana.

I worked at the Blockbuster on Nicholasville Road the summer I was living in the swanky Royal Lexington Apartments circa 2002. I was working there during the transition from VHS to DVD. I have a feeling me trying to explain that to my kids in 20 years will sound like someone trying to explain to me the inconvenience of transitioning roadways from horse and buggy to model-T's.

We have a few of those old little video stores in this county that basically just locked their doors and proceeded to rot. I've always wondered if there are still a bunch of old gems, video and VHS tapes trapped inside collecting dust.

Who am I kidding, probably just meth labs.

But if you can cook meth while watching Howard the Duck or playing Blades of Steel, then I mean why not cook meth?

Who DIDN'T have a thing for Nicole Eggert? Lawdy. Was there any other reason to watch Charles in Charge? Didn't realize she was in Blown Away. I shall watch it directly.

Saw over the weekend that Baywatch reruns are back on some channel I get.

My last year of law school there would be 2 hours of Baywatch followed by 2 hours of Miami Vice on everyday.

LEXINGTON, Ky. — It would take a “miraculous recovery” for Kentucky QB Drew Barker to start Saturday against South Carolina, coach Mark Stoops said on his Monday night radio show.

Barker had an MRI on his injured back and will see a specialist Wednesday morning.

Here’s what Stoops told host Tom Leach on his show about the quarterback situation:

“If Drew was back, 100 percent ready to go, then he would have the opportunity,” Stoops said. “Now, there’s always things that factor in like missed practice, getting the reps and if your backup is playing like Stephen did. All situations are different so we’ll have to see. It would have to be a miraculous recovery for him to come back Wednesday afternoon and feel that good and be able to come in and start in this game with the way Stephen played.”

Bring it princess. I think I can beat 26 seconds.
Umm you didn't even make it to state out of a weakass district. So... I'd have your fat *** sucking wind in seconds. No idea where you got the idea I'm some sort of pushover because I'd say my track record speaks for itself. Nicest dude in the world until you cross me. Keep flexing those flabby arms.

Meh, you weren't there and obviously that whole ordeal was completely overblown, especially at this point. The slap was a result of us pushing each other and about 5 people got in the middle as soon as that started. Not like Matt hit me with a Charlie Murphy he just pushed my neck/face. Also, extremely glad it was one we both decided to drop and walk away from. No shame in walking away when it's dumb because had it gone down both of us would've been in jail for Gameday and looked like idiots considering there were cops everywhere. We made up like 4 years after, consider Matt a good friend now, and it's been 9 years since it happened... yet you're the only person who continues to bring it up. Be really neat if you found someone else to follow around here.

I mean, if Doc and and Anthony got into an honest to goodness fight it would end when Doc connects with one punch.

Learn fighting. Size (weight) isn't everything...give me the former redneck who knows how to get it done by any means.

Pope would be way too distracted by all the body contact w/ his little mancrush anyways.
I saw you whip Bonzo but you all were a lot closer size wise. Anthony could land 5 to 1 punches but if that one from Doc lands in the right spot.....game over IMO.

Or the guy who's actually been in a fight.

Oh, and now Ursch is weighing in on someone being tough guy after the fact. Jesus tapdancing Christ. I can only imagine the Sayre figh...err..disagreements.

Preston you stepped on my loafers, that really hurt my feelings. I'm so stinking mad I'm going to hit your mouth with my hands.

Can't believe you all are trying to get two best pals to turn on each other. Uncalled for.

P.S. - Etown's rise in UL fandom is a direct result of Dixie Highway becoming self aware. I mean, have you all even been to Etown in the last 10 years? Line beards, frosted tips, and white K-Swiss for days.

The anth/Mags "fight" really was completely lame and it wasn't really a slap, but what fun is talking about that on message boards?

Yeah, honestly thought he was joking for 75% of it. By the time it got heated it was over in 30 seconds.

Can you imagine the Chess Club fights that Casey had to diffuse between Tucker and Graham?

80 vs B4th would be on the undercard but would probably be the one everyone actually wants to see.

Can't really imagine a scenario where Anth and I would get into a real fight. We've nearly gotten into a scuff together (same team though) so I know he's got some fire. Speed and skill will beat size, to a degree. However when the other person knows what he's doing that advantage is somewhat lost.

Still if it ever did happen, he goes to sleep.
