Yeah, bringing in Rodman screwed the BullsExactly, so add more fuel to the fire so to speak with Boogies theatrics? Cleveland may get its own reality show...The Real World - Cavs Edition. :joy:

Yeah I know all of those distractions while he was at UK tanked our season.
You know what? Maybe having a coach that cares about his players and gets along with them like one of the guys (Cal/Lue) and having another superstar to take the pressure and spotlight away from Demarcus (Wall/LeBron) could keep him in check.
Nah....crazy idea!

Best big man in the league for a franchise that has failed to make the team any better. HOnestly in his 5- years there what other player are you taking? One, Isiah Thomas. And they only had a few years together. Blame goes with out a doubt to shitshow franchise as much as it does on anyone.Maybe so...maybe not. All we know is what we've seen from Demarcus in the NBA.
Best big man in the league who has failed to make his team or teammates any better than the day he arrived. The moping, beetching, suspensions, fights, hitting people in the nuts and stomach (both when the receiving players werent looking btw), blatant disrespect for multiple coaches and teammates, grabbing his crotch and mouthing expletives towards fans isn't really happening from all the other Kings players for it to be such a nightmare of an environment.
So to blame it all on the Kings organization is just the easy way out and showing a big blue bias. And yes the Kings are a dumb dumb franchise, but maybe their dumbest move is to continue to invest millions in a headache player that they can continue to be awful with or without.
Green is a great complimentary player that does a lot for his team. To say I'd take him over Cousins is laughable, IMO.
Cousins has played for the same terrible organization that drafted him. 1 team. He's never been in serious trouble, and all of his problems have remained in the locker room. If you don't believe this could be fixed in another locker room with better management, then ask John Calipari what the hell he did.
Take off the BBN glasses. Professionals gamblers like RJ Bell (unlike typical uk slurpers) state that behind LeBron, draymond green has the greatest affect on a point spread.
I get that Cousins played at Kentucky and you love him, but to say that taking Green over cousins is laughable says more about your bias than your knowledge of the game.

Love for COusins makes no sense. Who is COusins going to guard when OKC is rolling out Curry, Klay, Iggy, Durant, and Draymond?
If the referees let them play. The nba should really think about swallowing the whistle a little more often. It's getting out of hand (guys being suspended for finals games)..
While the Cavs are at it, they should find a time machine and go back to 1992 and pick up Jordan (to upgrade the SG spot) and Malone (to upgrade the PF spot. Wow, think of that team! There has been a lot of chatter on sites and NBA Twitter tumors that the Cavs have an interest in trying to trade away Love for Cousins and it has amped up even more now that the Warriors have signed KD. If they can work out all of the kinks....how would this look:
Irving
Smith
LeBron
Thompson
Cousins
Throw in Jefferson and possibly Ben McLemore from Sacremento in the trade off the bench....could this team beat the Warriors in 7?
Did you not see Thompson guarding Curry and Klay during the finals? He shut them down for the most part when given the opportunity in games 5-7. Cousins would have trouble, but by getting in better shape Demarcus is agile enough to defend stretch 4's and pick and rolls.I'm sure this was already addressed.. but Green was suspended for being a D-Bag. You can only pull antics for so long before action has to be taken. Maybe GSW doesn't even make the finals if Green was properly punished.
As for Cousins and Thompson.. I don't know. That's a lot of size for a game that's moving to shooters and stretch 4s. Would love to see Cousins with Lebron, but that original roster that was posted probably needs work.
WTF are you talking about? It's an idea that has been talked about with the Cavs and Celtics to try and get Cousins. Go back to bed. While the Cavs are at it, they should find a time machine and go back to 1992 and pick up Jordan (to upgrade the SG spot) and Malone (to upgrade the PF spot. Wow, think of that team!
Irving
Jordan
LeBron
Malone
Cousins.
Were these sites Cavs fan sites? That would be one of the worst trades in history. Cousin > Love, McLemore>Shumpert. Also those picks would be very late first round picks. The NBA blocked CP3/Lakers trade and this one is a lot worse. Cleveland doesn't have what it would take to land Cousins. Too many teams could give a lot more to the Kings for Cousins.Couple sites had a Love, Shumpert and 1st round picks for the next two-three years for Cousins and McLemore/Koufus (sp?).
The Celtics might have what it would take to land Cousin but the Cavs don't. If you think the Kings are trading possibly the best big man in the NBA for two late first rounders and a guy who averaged 16pts/gm then you need to put down the pipe.WTF are you talking about? It's an idea that has been talked about with the Cavs and Celtics to try and get Cousins. Go back to bed.
exactly this. they might have to give up jr smith + love for cousins. Cousins is a franchise player right now, love isn't.Think Cleveland has to give more than Love to pull off that deal

The NBA owned New Orleans at the time is why the NBA was able to block it.Were these sites Cavs fan sites? That would be one of the worst trades in history. Cousin > Love, McLemore>Shumpert. And Cleveland would have to own the Kings to make them do a dumb trade like the one proposed. They don't so it ain't happening. The NBA owned New Orleans at the time is why the NBA was able to block it.
Once again...facts are unwanted on this board lol. The Kings know Cousins wants out. Why keep him unhappy and have shat hit the fan or lose him when it's time for FA when they could get a Kevin Love who is a west coast guy and would love the area. The NBA owned New Orleans at the time is why the NBA was able to block it.
I didn't say the NBA would block the trade. I was saying that this proposed trade was worse than the CP3 trade. Love is a role player and Cousins is a star. Fact: They aren't trading Cousins for Love. Here's another fact: Cleveland doesn't have anything to land Cousins unless it's Irving or LeBron and Cleveland ain't doing that. Lol! You're talking about "facts" while pipe dreaming!!Once again...facts are unwanted on this board lol. The Kings know Cousins wants out. Why keep him unhappy and have shat hit the fan or lose him when it's time for FA when they could get a Kevin Love who is a west coast guy and would love the area.
Player Efficiency Rating of 23.67 > 19.31
My knowledge of the game tells me DeMarcus Cousins scores twice as many ppg, and also rebounds at a higher rate. (In the same amount of time played per game.)
Demarcus should score more points and get more rebounds since he is the only NBA player on the Kings. [banana][banana][banana]
Love's stats at Minnesota were the same as Demarcus at the Kings. Both teams sucked.
First most of you are automatically assuming the Warriors improved their team. Not necessarily true. No team has had four offensive weapons as good and GS won't either. Only one ball. They greatly weakened their bench which was a key. They needed rim protection. More defense and rebounding.
If any of you remember when wilt joined the Lakers it worked because wilt totally changed his game. Curry sure won't. Green won't. So that leaves Thompson.
That trade helped them win a title and by your own admission, Wiggins would not have helped them much...Seems like a decent trade to me.sorry, i thought the cavs were stupid for making that trade
they're lucky wiggins hasn't developed into more than a one-dimensional scorer
wiggins on a rookie deal would be much better for them--that roster is crying out for another wing athlete
If Cleveland were looking to win 3-4 years down the road, then keeping Wiggins might have been smarter.
Even then, the chance that Wiggins even develops into a star is small and he may never be as good as Love. An aging Lebron makes the trade even more enticing.
Who's going to guard Cousins??????
green already has a max contract, i believe
shot 38% from 3, and averaged 7.5 assists a game as a 4. first team all defense last two seasons
you're the one insisting there's no debate
for me, green's defense/open shooting/passing makes him more of a winning player in modern basketballl
