Tuesday Shorts:
- This may be controversial but I just don't like long vacations. Four, maybe 5 days is long enough for me. As much fun as I had, I was glad to be coming home when I did. I'm not even jealous of my lass who's now in Hawaii.
- Lorenzo Romar is basically West Coast Leonard Hamilton. Great guy who everyone likes and a tremendous recruiter...but suspect at best on the bench. Dude will have two OAD lottery picks this year in Murray and Chriss. Has Fultz next year and Porter after that. That's stupid talent.
- This Jamal Murray hype just further reminds me that we wasted a once-in-a-lifetime backcourt. Can't believe neither Poythress nor Lee ever really improved after their freshmen years. Grrr.
- Good TV week for dad- 8 more hours of the OJ doc, which is tremendous; and also jumped back into Silicone Valley after barely dipping my toes in it when it began. Very impressed. LOL funny, if not ROTLMAO funny.
- Can't wrap my mind around any basketball not enjoying the way the Warriors play.
- Of course, I saw some UK gear out on the left coast. All on kids.
- That "Work Work Work" song is my favorite ****** pop song in sometime. Have liked it from the get-go, particularly enjoy the rap interlude, "
Can you make it clap, no hands for me?", which seems like an absurd request for a lover. Anyway, this reminds me of my long-held belief that a Grammy should be given to "Best Rap Interlude In a Pop Song." Like, Lil Wayne should've gotten a Grammy in 2009 for "Down Down Down" and Juicy J in 2013 for "Dark Horse," among other examples.
- Not surprisingly, Julie Taylor is looking good these days. And Minka Kelly NEVER ages.:fire:
- The apparently gay Orlando shooter's ex.
