He may not live in Key West, but @Scott_Charlton (I have no idea who he is, btw) is living the life.

Dude just sits around on weekdays re-watching old UK games and tweeting vines of them. He's currently showing a bunch of Wall-Bledsoe clips from 2010.

Meanwhile, I'm currently reviewing a bunch of medical & psych records trying to determine whether a girl flunked out of junior college because of PTSD & migraines that affected her ability to focus, or whether it was because she just wasn't all that smart. The Law may be a jealous mistress, but she's also a boring hag.

Wow UK Football tickets off at more than 45% from last year. Sitting at around 32K. The lowest in recent years was 39K in the last Joker year. OPERATION WIN

Haven't really kept up with gorilla gate, I'm sure it's awful.

PTSD is real, and it's awful too...but what experiences actually define it is a slippery slope...that kid getting tossed around in the gorilla pit-yeah probably. War vet seeing his buddies killed around him or having limbs blown off-yeah. Girl on her period at the beach with tampon strings hanging out and all her friends laughing at her? Somebody gets a pair of skinny jeans tailored and they don't fit right?

The doctors office is also not Burger King, you can't really have it your way. Ultimately the provider is responsible for what happens to you. I mean, sure a nurse probably has a good idea of what's going on most the time, but if he/she is wrong, or something adverse happens, guess who's left holding the bag? Am I gonna put my license on the line for your convenience? Get real.

Who would have thunk it that last season was the breaking point? But it was for many of the season ticket holders that I know. If the season ticket sales don't improve it looks like there will be a shitload of tickets so I can go when I want to at a much cheaper ticket price.

I think people are more pissed at the increases in price than anything. We've seen some really bad football here at UK, but typically we didn't have to pay premium prices for it.

I damn near didn't renew my tickets this year, and even have some buyers remorse for doing so.

He's iconic in two or three different departments of his profession -- he called Jack Nicklaus winning The Masters in 1986 before he ever called an SEC game, just like he called Christian Laettner's jumper to beat UNC in 1992 a full twenty-one years and change before the Kick Six.

Drew Barker Band Wagon Extravaganza Express seems to have plenty of room at the moment...

Think I'll stretch my legs and get comfy because when he's tossing re-entry passes upon opponents domes and the ol' air raid siren is blaring, Cash Daniel blasting around the end to decapitate another unsuspecting QB, spittin some Beachnut in that dudes eye as he lay motionless on the Newton turf...I'll be giving the wink and the gun to you haters as the sun slowly melts over the corner of the most aesthetically pleasing stadium in the SEC.

It's ah parhtee, indeed.

I have name tags reserving spots for Richie and SAE on the Express already, they won't last long.

I'm just curious... do you people not like FREE 5 star vacations? free product? LOTS of free product? do you not like money? do you not have 5 friends who have eyes, skin and a brain? If you DO like any of those things and have 5 friends or one friend who has more friends and so on, THEN WE NEED TO TALK ASAP. Seriously. Like right now.

Text me, call me, message me, send the pony express if you have to (no, don't. it'll take too long), I've got a sweet deal for anyone who joins me. And I *may* have a sweet Memorial Day special... or four.

UK football is going to have a hard time answering the question in the average fans' minds of "WHY buy season tickets? WHY NOT just buy individual tickets for the two or three games I want to go to?"

When your product seems like a chore to much of your target market, that's a problem.

Always thought Mumme was an idiot because he couldn't put his ego aside to hire a competent D Coordinator and hire someone to deal with all of the administrative crap but maybe ole Hal was right...

Folks, don't take this **** too seriously because it's a total & complete uphill battle. We've got Buffet over the loudspeakers and gonna toss it around 50 times a game. May even run a fake punt inside our own 30. Enjoy the entertainment.

I write for a living and am outraged that Richie is so much better than me at turning a phrase. It's crazy. Almost like we don't even speak the same language. I think it's the genuine enthusiasm that does it for me. Aircraft carrier with a soft touch.

Asking the smarter people here for advice on bitcoin. I've been told today that it will blow up and has been increasing and should continue for the same reason that gold is high right now.

So what do the smart investors here know about this?

So you're all 5 years invested in Bitcoin and and balling. Good I guess there is no chance to make money off it anymore and it was a bubble that can't be profitable?

Appreciate the insults though[thumb2]

Please keep this in GYERO, you guys. Sounds like he's come across some seriously back-stairs info from which we could all benefit.

In all seriousness, go listen to a podcast or something with Andreas Antonopoulus or someone like that to get an idea of what you're even asking about.

Never pretended to have inside info or know what it was I was asking about. Thought I was clear in asking the smarter people here........maybe not.

Thanks though for pointing me in the right direction.[cheers]

In the age of the Internet where it's near impossible not to be able to gain a quick baseline reference for what you intend to post on an Internet message board from the actual Internet Krazykats is an outstanding anomaly.

UK football is its best when expectations are low. Ticket prices low, losses expected, attendance lackluster, crowd drunk... And the occasional win is something to be wildly celebrated. It's in stark contrast to what makes uk basketball fun; knowing that we're the best and being cocky about it. The dichotomy is what makes being a fan of both enjoyable.

Look I want a team to be proud of and celebrate. But when you set the bar higher with increased ticket prices, promises of wins, ridiculous coaching salaries, and all around trying to act like we are a big program without any of the success, it makes it where the little joys are no longer something to celebrate. It just makes fans resentful of the failures. UK football was always a "bargain." Paying the season ticket fee was mostly an afterthought. That bargain was repaid with our basketball tickets. You don't see SEC basketball programs raising their ticket prices exorbitantly and expecting an increased turnout and better product. If they want to raise football ticket prices, at least wait until we have a couple years of sustained success which causes demand to rise.
