So, there is obviously a strong Gyero parenting push for sports. Which is good.

Any of you out there encouraging musical instruments?

The price of school is outrageous, and with robots taking over, marcus slang insurance, or whatever SGI does.

I played a **** ton of sports growing up but my dad told me once he got just as much enjoyment watching me sing in our school chorus than any sport I played.

That always stuck with me, FWIW. Thought he may have been FOS at first but as a relatively new dad I'm starting to get where he was coming from.

Late GYERO congrats to @IsRichieGonnaStart @tfields01 BTW. Awesome stuff.

wcc he was a gruff, salty, sloppy drinker/storyteller just as you would imagine him to be.

I guess I travel too much to pay attention but [laughing] I actually had no idea this thing was this far along. I guess good timing, will this fit in the giant hole downtown?

The people watching will be off the charts at the Noah's Ark park, no?

Should be an unusually crazy mix of holier-than-thou Ned Flanders types, alongside complete trailer trash rednecks who blame everyone else for their problems. And praise Jesus hallelujah amen.

BRax, your son play at that nice baseball complex in Nicholasville, think it's called Memorial or something? I played countless amounts of games there when I was younger. Think the dude that owned it was named Dallas or something? He always rigged the tournaments so his son's team would have the easiest path to the championship games.
Our games are at the City-County park. Sounds janky, I know, but it's actually a really nice facility. Jessamine county does 2 things better than anyone else in central Ky - baseball parks and failed country music themed restaurants.

Sorry Rax this is a big ole false. Eddie Montgomery's was much nicer than John Michael's and the baseball park is better in Harrodsburg. So there

I'm heading to Dicks tomorrow for a kids soccer net and just signed up for swim lessons, eff that noise.

- Let's be honest here, the lack of concession stand fare is what sealed the deal for you.

- Lololol at swim... Enjoy those daily practices at either 6am or 930am. Perfect timing during the week! Don't forget being required to sit there for 4 hours every meet just to watch one heat.

- Nicholasville baseball parks, coaches and residents are the worst.

- Can someone answer shitbag/slice's questions they've posed in their posts so he/they have some material for KSR tryouts??? Felt bad for them after hearing how mean one of their coaches was.

Went to the creation museum with my ultra-Jewish buddy from New York during law school. While we were taking pictures of him standing next to the mannequin Methuselah posing with his Star of David necklace, two women wearing full niqabs audibly expressed their outrage.

We just said Allah akbar and went on with our day, but there are lots of those types up that way. Not that surprising when you think about it, but you know it has to freak BJW out a bit.

The wife and I have started casually talking about kids in the next year or two and pretty much all of the names she's throwing out are straight out of the GYERO child name generator. So much so that Brooks has been the least pretincious boys name she's thrown out.
I set a rule that I had to have met a person "in real life," for a name to be in contention.

I got so bothered by all hens-in-law during one crazy names session, that when my MIL said, "Well Joey, I've met an *insert crazy Scottish lady name* before." I dropped the line, "Well: fun fact, *MIL.* I'm not you."

(She is a very nice lady who loves me very much and I feel bad about that one. But, I have my limits.)

The wife and I, who are not yet even trying, have already agreed on a boy name. But every GD girl name she wants is too stripper-esque for me. Not full on stripper names, but a little too close for my comfort.

A wimpy elbow graze takes down Lebron in dramatic back pedal style? Seriously dude. Schedule your vajazzle if that's all it takes.

Hey sports guy in Indy, I got some of that garlic mosquito spray. Any tips or instructions? Should I spray it tomorrow with run dry weather? Do you usually reapply?

I agree to an extent, but if it works, it works. Blame the refs for falling for that BS. Same as flopping on a charge, people do it because it works.
