Once again yhis is product of where we are right now under Cal....Briscoe on any other team he doesnt even put his name in and if he did not being invited would be automatic he is back...OP should not get crushed for this

Briscoe on another team would have been the starting pg and put up
14ppg 5ast prob 5 reb and put his name in the draft and higher a agent. Didn't do it at UK because the best pg in the nation was there

I doubt being on a different team would have magically fixed his shot.

Maybe not, but with Briscoe starting and putting up better stats, he could have had a better shot at going higher in the draft. Don't get me wrong. It's nothing Cal did wrong. Every coach in the nation would have put the ball in Ulis hands. That kid was the best point guard in the nation and we couldn't afford to not have the ball in his hands. I don't know if he would have put up those stats, but it's not impossible. I don't think he enters the draft just cause he came to Kentucky. Some of our fans actually believe that kind of bs, but it's silly. The fans that think that, what would you do to fix this? Stop recruiting the best players in the nation? You do know that is part of why this happens to our school, right? Cal knows what he is doing and i trust the man 100% and i don't even want to think about any other coach leading our program.

he magically made 6 of 6 free throws and i i r c 3 out of 5 jumpshots in the tournament

certainly possible he'd work through his yips quicker if he had the ball in his hands all the time, and become a poor rather than phenomenally awful shooter

not at all farfetched to think he might have put up 14/5/5 and shot 60% from the ft line at st john's

he pretty much beats his guy and gets in the lane whenever he wants
