It wouldn't be that tough if it was a Dollar General Market, they're basically mini Wal Marts now.

Buy 1 get 1 Penn Station sub coupon scheme was the best. Crushed that. KFC taste test job was also waf. Free food as much as you could eat and they paid you $12.

One time two years ago me, Slice, and another buddy drunkenly got Waffle House. On the walk home, our friend asked if we were up for getting Rally's. Being hammered, we agreed and then crushed a large combo from Rally's. I have never felt worse in my entire life.

- Me and some other guys this year took advantage of Joellas deal where the first hundred people in line get free meals for a year. Only had to show up at like 6:30 one morning and wait for an hour and a half, and boom, 52 free meal cards. That's a hell of a deal for a college student. I know B Rax is jelly.

Rio Bravo free taco bar/e-coli spa was the best deal in town for a spell.

O'Charleys half priced apps and $5 pitchers in Nicholasville Rd. was a go-to every once in a while.

Monday night Hometown Pizza Buffet on Landsdowne.

Dime Time (I'm an old) at Hoots on Wesnesday nights.

^^^ Didn't do it often, but frequented those places after a visit from dad or a quick trip back home to say "hello." :sunglasses:

Went two solid months on noodles, tostinos, and Natural Lite during my brief stint in Lexington. Who could afford to eat at a restaurant? Every now and then I'd cash my McAlpins paycheck and splurge at the food court.

$5.50/hour FTL.

Wow, McAlpin's. That's a blast from the past. Girl I know talked me into modeling and doing fashion shows for them as a teenager. Was an awesome deal. Got like $17/hr and met all these hot chicks who didn't go to my school. Was a goldmine. Worked out VERY well for a svelte young Bob.

In college my go to was Jozo's. Absolutely worshipped. Lynaugh's O'round, Ramsey's breakfast, and Mad mushroom were all staples.

Remember a buddy of mine telling his parents that McAlpin's was a grocery store for credit card statement purposes and was thereby able to keep the wardrobe fresh.

I believe it was Jermaine Dupri that said it best with "After the party it's the Waffle House"

Also their short order cooks are legit talented. Basically just answering the barked out orders coming from the lunatic ladies up front- no real sense of any real system in play. Yet they get it done. And I dont ever recall a bad experience at any waffle house. Juke box, vanilla cokes, someone always has a black and mild if you need to bum one...

^Nice take. Those cooks do pump out some solid food with idiots ordering.

On cue, DrSteak texted me a picture of his meal tonight. A steak.

BTW, I had turkey and ham in a paleo wrap with some chips. Who the hell eats like that during the week? Buy some lunch meat, a pack of chicken breast and some lettuce. Just because you mix in a few carrots doesn't help.

It was an 8 oz prime grass fed organic filet. I mean, that's kind of like diet steak for me.

How often do you eat burgers, smashboy?

Tanaishia Hinkle's Facebook is AMAZING. A few posts on there are definitely worth the read...says the government has planted a 'chip' inside of her.

-Enjoy, Rob. May wanna work on your tenant screening process there, bub. Good lord. Shoulda rented to Lee Norton instead imo. He gets it.

Oh, and the Shaun Young character she's desperately trying to find per other posts (baby daddy), well his Facebook is equally amazing. Man, where do these people come from?

This has been brought to you by random things I do on my phone during the first 15 minutes I climb in bed before I go to sleep.

-Listening to Jones' pod with Bilas is enough to make your head explode. I like Jay, but he came off as a really smart witness Matt couldn't nail down for a straight answer. Maybe that's just a product of two lawyers discussing a system of rules and punishments that have no rhyme, reason, or consistency. One thing is clear, ain't **** happening to UNC.

-Been a prosecutor for 9 years, there is an entire segment of our society that is completely zoned out of reality on drugs, both legal and illegal. Only getting worse with synthetics...that stuff basically turns people into mental patients and many the effects are permanent. Most on here never come in contact with these people, not even at the Wal Marks...but they are there, trust me, they are there...

I was going to ask today if I should listen or not. Something happened in the Kansas game and I have little tolerance for Bilas now.

Bilas is a prick. I didn't listen to the podcast, but whenever duke/UNC come up his butthole gets real tight. Then, he'll get all righteous about something stupid. F him.

Why has MJ aligned himself with these jackasses clowns like Gottleib and Jason Williams?

And don't give me that PC business ****. Dude has all kinds of UK connections. Can he not get someone who ain't a documented UK hater and ESPN clown? Or is that the whole point?

I think that's a big part of it. When the NCAA just flat out declared after the Kanter mess that prior precedent meant nothing in its decision making, I kinda stopped believing that they know what they're doing there when it comes to enforcement.

- Looked like a helluva set list from Pearl Jam last night in Rupp. Anyone go?

- Anyone with experience with allergy shots?

- Really, the hell with the Clippers. Ideally, that's a franchise you'd want to root for- longtime loser and little brother to the hated Lakers, but then have bags like Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Doc Rivers and his son. I never want any of those guys to have success.

- Never fails with an office pizza party. The hens insist on an equal amount of cheese pizza and veggie pizza to go along with pepperoni. Guess what's gone in 5 minutes? The pepperoni. Guess what's leftover and in the fridge now? The cheese and veggie. Shocking.

- Can't wait to be in Buckhead killing bourbons.

Working in the social services field with at-risk youth, I see these people everyday. Most families are oblivious to how sh*tty they are at parenting. Unfortunately it's a cycle that's hard to break, especially if you grow up around a bunch of dumb f*cks and all of their behavior has been "normalized" to you.

This rain is really putting a damper on tee ball season. ********.

Finished House of Cards last night. That show is great. Basically if GoT took place in modern times. But now Ive got to find something to replace it. Wife wants to start that kimmy Schmidt show. Is that like a chick comedy or something? Chad?
