But like the guy said on KSR yesterday, most people would have a hard time passing the GED test without studying.

It was 20 years ago but I helped a friends grandma study for the GED and was pretty sure I could pass it at 11. I'm sure it's gotten tougher (hopefully) since then but I doubt it's that hard.

Anyone surprised that B Rax's spinoff DADYERO has been such a success? Who knew there was so much interest in dadding.

"I HATE SKOOL AND EVERTHING IT STANDS FOR AND I AINT GET NO DEGREE BUT I THINK I SHOULD RUN AT SKOOL BORED"

"Sounds good - you're hired."
That's actually a platform in some areas of the state that works surprisingly well.

"We must destroy our schools in order to save them. Literally. Fire. Salt the earth with the tears and lamentations of the wicked."
"But what about our children?"
"Oh, mine? They go to private school and/or home school."
"No, the students What about THOSE children???"
*looks at camera* "If they die... they die."

DADYERO happened because we dads were getting bullied in GYERO for taking up too many posts talking about our home lives with children. You were one of the main culprits, iirc

Your little girl is adorable, fwiw. Looks like the happiest kid in the world.

It's amazing to me how Joey will believe anything that he hears on a podcast. Is there a 'Snopes' for those things? If so, he needs the link.

Maybe one day there will be a podcast about how you should quit basing your life off of what you hear on podcasts, and then he can at least attempt going back to being somewhat normal. (and I use normal very loosely)

House going on the market this weekend. Have a showing already tonight though.

But really what's going to sell it quickly is my wife touching up (no GYERO) the paint on the baseboards in the upstairs bathroom at 9:30 last night. Really adds potty appeal, which we all know is what moves property in this market.

I think Prince had AIDS, took his meds religiously for years, got comfortable and stopped due to Jehovah's Witnesses in his life pressuring him to do so.

Sounds reasonable. Prince not having AIDS would be more surprising than Prince having AIDS.

Campaigning at Fonner Park today...they had to cut back races because of a massive herpes outbreak among the horses. WTF?

Horse ships in from another circuit, and brings it with him. It happens. They will try and contain/quarantine it, but just like with humans, you dont catch it in time, spreads like wildfire.

Ellis had an outbreak couple summers ago.

-The article was great and very well written. Might check out the Haney book at some point. A lot of similarities to Armstrong and his fall. Although Lance is pretty much just a giant ******* to everyone.

Love for Tiger to win just 1 more and go into retirement.

Really? I thought the bet was 2 more majors by Tiger/Phil and Phil already has 1. So that means they only need 1 more to push or 2 more to win?

It's unlikely, today, but it's not crazy.

I also think that guy is overplaying Tiger wanting to retire. MJ and Basketball are very different from golf.

-I think it was, initially...but it seems to change every month. Only thing PTI(pti) did correctly (apparently) was predict Tiger would have 67 injuries from that point forward. Pretty amazing job!

The best Facebook spam, far and away, are those 60 second 'Tasty' (and numerous knockoffs) high-speed recipe videos.

Tiger Woods is 40. Not giving up on that one for at least 5 or 6 years. That's a good 20-25 Majors worth of activity. Still think he'll scratch 1 or 2 more.

Kind of like Kobe going for 60 in his finale. He's pretty much been a broken down athlete for at least a year, and this season was painful, but dude still had a light switch to enable him to be the best player on the planet for a short period of time. And I feel that way about Tiger.

Golf has a way of making magic happen, especially for the great ones. Ben Crenshaw won the damn Masters at age 43 after not breaking 70 in 2 months and having to miss the practice rounds for Penick's funeral. (Most underrated amazing/cool story in sports imo)

Just hard for me to believe there isn't a moment or two left for Tiger.

Phil is still extremely competitive as well.

The bet isn't even close to over. Tom Watson almost won the GD British Open at 59 years old, and he had the yips for 20 years.

I am convinced though PTI made this bet solely to brag about winning it for the 10 years it takes for him to lose it. Really worth the money for him, IMO.

We have about 15 more years to discuss the bet because Jack finished top 6 at the Masters at age 58, Watson should have won the British at age 59, Norman was in the last group of a major at age 53, Couples finished in the top 20 at the Masters from age 50-54, Langer at 58 this year was in the hunt. No, they didn't get it done but Phil and Tiger will have chances for quite awhile to come, hopefully they can convert on a couple.

For me with Tiger, i just want the PGA Tour wins record to fall. Just get 4 wins no matter where they are before you're done. Let Jack hold the major record and you hold the most wins.
