People generally want to feel a part of something, I guess. Social media makes that easier. It is weird that people cry in public (or pretend they do) over someone they never met, though.

Anytime I start to want to bash such emotional reactions, I think about how much of a hysterical fool I am about a sport played by 18-22 year amateur athletes and then I shut my mouth.

4. jeans (low-waisted)
5. sun dress
what?

-Bar crawl with my MSE class friends last night. Good to not go out with my usual crowd and mix it up a little bit. However, I'm sitting at work right now and want to die from this hangover. I'll probably grab some Chick-fil-A for lunch and be good though.

Something about Bevin actually getting things done despite the mess Beshear and Co. created have you upset?

Oh, how we long for the scandal-free days of the Fletcher administration. They were about as clean as UNC athletics and academics.

I apologize. That was a pretty disrespectful comparison to slap on the Fletcher administration. They weren't nearly as bad as UNC.

Staining the privacy fence part deux this weekend. Got a commercial grade paint sprayer. Throw in a cooler full of True Pilsners and some tunes; ideal weekend to knock it out.

We are going to stain the back deck this summer. Really not looking forward to it.

I like and enjoy an Old Fashioned in the appropriate setting, but I think it's highly overrated as a cocktail. To me, it's one of those things you feel like you're obligated to drink/enjoy, and I do.

I prefer a Manhattan.

I prefer good Bourbon on the rocks to either (and most other bourbon cocktails).

..btw, Chad. I know you're a Bulleit guy, as am I. They just released a special edition Barrel Strength -- a bit of a splurge, but pretty awesome.

-I picked up a 6'er of 'sour' beer the other day b/c it sounded different/good on a hot day & the can was cool...and I don't think I'd ever had one & was curious. I won't be having one again.

- I'm a booty guy first and foremost.

- This 36-year-old doesn't want to hear about your GD hangover.

- Wheels up to the west coast! Bach party in SD. Woot.

There is an absolutely c*** in line next to me to board this plane. Southwest, so my only priority will be staying as far away from her as I can.

- Best airport snack? Has to be PB M&M's. And a frosty, of course.

- Wife keeps putting bug in my ear about kids, which we'll get to eventually. But in the last week I've taken care of two sick kids less than a week old. Terrifying.

- Yealy PSA. If you ride a motorcycle you are a very selfish, dumb person.

I think we need to just start embracing cheating university wide. What does it matter? We need boast about our cheating. You think cal pays recruits? Hell yeah he does, pal. Way more than your broke dick coach can afford, too. You'll never match us. You think we give 2 f*cks about chemistry? F*ck outta here. Here, D'aaron. Here's $3k for the weekend and some blond early Ed major from Glasgow. Enjoy the derby. Seriously. F*ck it. Let's just cheat our asses off and embrace it.

Met some buds at a bar yesterday. Happy hour. Walk in and there's a dude kneed up on a stool, sheriffs deputy badge gleaming in the sunlight, plowing brown waters.

Solid performance.

-Who knows if we're cheating, you don't hear any whispers about it and it comes from areas where this staff has ties, so I doubt it. Not unheard of to see a staff crush recruiting and put up lousy results on the field. Glad they're having this success but we gotta win some late season games.

-Beer lately has been Coors Banquette throw back bottles. I love those little things. I guess I'm just a curmudgeon or simpleton as I've moved away from all this craft non-sense and stick with Bud Light/Coors. I like a few of the local beers -> Blue Stallion Heffe and Cougar Bait, but when I'm drinking an ice cold draft Bud Light is still my #1.

-When I was younger I was mixing brown water. Now it's 2 fingers and 2 cubes.

-Bulleit lives on a few streets over in Montclair as well. Next door neighbor is their dog sitter. Never met them but apparently really great people.

-Sundresses and jeans that low, c'mon.

-Derby Season starts tomorrow. [jumpingsmile]

Love how brazen all major football and basketball programs were in the 80's with cheating.

Sure we bought such and such. His new sports car is parked right out of front of Wildcat Lodge.

That being said, UK was knee deep in it going back to the Joe B. Hall era but anyone who believes Dwayne Casey mailed one thousand in CASH to Chris Mills' dad in an envelope with the UK Basketball Office as the return address should also believe in the Tooth Fairy. Total setup job by Lute Olsen.

Man, Coors Banquet is just one beer I could never stand. Not a huge Coors Light guy either.

If I'm just having a drink or two, I'll go crafty. If I'm partying, it's Hudy Delight (favorite), High Life or Miller Lite.

Maker's old fashioned
Bourbon on the rocks with a splash of H2O
Tito's dirty martini
Tito's and soda with a lemon

Pretty much the extent of my liquor drinking these days. I mostly just like them cold beers, though. Miller Lite, specifically.

This is why if you get caught cheating in 2016, you should suffer an ungodly punishment. Because everybody is cheating their balls off to certain degrees and if you're dumb enough to get caught, you're a big dumb stupid that's getting what's coming.

Programs are much slicker now and it's a lot easier to avoid a paper trail and dispose of evidence than it was at SMU in the 80s. Pony Excess is my favorite 30 for 30 and my favorite quote from that one was when the guy said "Hey! We bribed this guy and he isn't honoring the bribe!"

-I still prefer Miller Lite over crafties. Always have. And I agree a draft one tastes better, but I can't handle too many of them. I'm getting better at handling my wine/champagne intake again, so that's good.

-I didn't take notes while reading and now I can't remember what I wanted to respond to. (Going to open GYERO in another browser to refresh my memory...

-We desperately need to stain the deck again, but as you can guess, we are hiring someone to do it. BRax, it will likely be Jeff if the price isn't too high. 80, do you all do that?

-Speaking of doing stuff yourself, I stayed up late last night to put together G's water table. He's gonna have a blast this summer playing in it.

-Reds game will be fun, hopefully the bellydancer's will be joining when we go. Any other people with children want to come?
-I loved Prince. Him and Michael Jackson were my favorites. May 2004 Prince concert in Nashville. :)[banana] Good times in the company suite. We also used to jam out to Purple Rain at Malibu Pub after a long shift at Rafferty's.

-I would love to go back to Bama, it's my 2nd favorite stadium, but I think Mizzou is the road trip for us this season. In case you all forgot, I've been to all the stadiums (besides Mizzou and A&M, but I will be one step closer to checking them all off this fall.)

-I'm beginning to despise Facebook. Not that I didn't already, but this morning it was sadness after sadness posted when I woke up. People dying, sick babies, wrecks/fires/robberies. It's just constant downers on my feed. I much prefer instagram and snapchat these days.

-What is sour beer?

-I remember when a Chick Fil A sandwich would cure a hangover. That doesn't really work anymore. Enjoy slice and shootbag.

-I miss Frosty Frogs.

-I'm having a cyst removed from my back today. It just showed up after I had George, it wasn't there before. It was fine and the derm didn't' want to remove it a few months back, but it's really starting to itch and hurt when I touch it. Any advice, GYERO docs?

*Miller Lite for crushing. Dogfish Head for grilling and dinner.

*Week in San Diego coming up in July with the family. Visit Granny in Coronado, Sea World, USS Midway, Beach, Padres, Legoland....etc. So much **** to do out there. Plus the weather.....fuggidaboudit

*Mint Juleps suck. The worst, really. Could be I don't like bourbon. Yeah..that's probably it.

*Daisy, Low cut jeans, Sundress, Yoga. Still believe yoga pants are fattening the 30's and up female population.

Oh, and I NEVER had a hangover in High School or College. It wouldn't matter how much I drank, I could get up and fully function the next day. I'm thinking I was in my mid to late 20's before I started feeling ****** the next morning.

Hangover Timeline:
High School and College: Nope
Mid to late 20's: Yup
Today: Full two days of recovery and swearing off liquor forever.

Speaking of the terribleness of Facebook, an acquaintance of mine was posting this morning how Prince was killed by a vaccine. She really thinks it's possible that Big Medicine Vaccine People injected him with poison instead of a vaccine because he spoke out against vaccines a few years ago. What? She also says she doesn't buy that Prince OD'd because he was a health nut. Did she actually know Prince? I don't believe so.

It sounds like a conspiracy theory Adam would believe.

-Oh and how many GYERO'ers were crapping with a footstool over the past day?

No desire to go to Mizzou. Ever.

I'll be in T-Town this this year. Fully expect to be on the Gillette's patio for the most of the second half slugging down domestos & enjoying the scenery. Whatever happens on the field is ancillary.

That "Knox County school board chair hires someone to take his GED" scandal might be the most Kentucky story ever. Only thing missing is a vote-buying accusation.
But like the guy said on KSR yesterday, most people would have a hard time passing the GED test without studying. However, how did that guy get in the position he was in over education to begin with? Kentucky good ol boy network. smh.
