I would be shocked if they don't win tonight. That said I was a huge fan of the Bulls team that won 72, but hope it gets broke tonight.

And Screw Kobe.

I started out watching the Kobe game. Randle and Lyles both starting. Kobe is like 1-5 with a TO.

If the Warriors win tonight do you think the Bulls will take down the banner that says 72?

What is more impressive 400 3's in a season or batting .400 in baseball? One of them have never been done yet.. 3 to go for Curry

Twitter went down right when these two games tipped and is still down. They broke twitter, must be some Kardashians at the Kobe game.

He is closing in on 400? That's another record I doubt will ever be broken, unless by him. Just crazy.

The 3 pointer came into the NBA for the 79-80 season. It wasn't until 93-94 that any NBA team hit 400 for a season.

There's some hood riding around in my hometown of Dyersburg, a town of 20,000, with a damn yellow older camaro with a huge f'in Golden State Warriors hood logo and Golden State written down the side. Tennessee guy, bandwagoning the Warriors?

I take it they are the new 90's bulls of today?

lol....

I dont agree with that at all, but I figured you'd like that. I honestly though I'd get it worse. :D
It is though. Individual defense was better back in the day but team defense is 100x better now. They changed the defense rules a lot in early 2000s. I bet if you ask LeBron, if he'd rather have hand checks or today's defense, he would go with hand check defense 100% of the time

I think you are confusing overly physical play that destroyed the NBA for me for 20 years with playing good defense. Pushing a guy when he went up for a shot is not good defense.

That's not good defense though.... Everything from zone defense, to packing the paint, and pretty much every other good defensive tactic was illegal back then

Man, if you say so.......You won't get many people of drinking age to agree with it.

Except people who follow the NBA agree with him. NBA defenses are better now and coaches are allowed more freedom to be creative with it. It's not as physical but the team defense is better.

That might be true, but it doesn't matter. When guns were allowed in celebrity death match, there was more blood. Doesn't matter why. It was what it was.

The game was extremely physical back then, and it was extremely difficult to make things happen. Just watch an NBA game today. Lots of standing, little physicality, and just weak on the defensive front minus a few teams.

It can be twisted all sorts of ways. Like I said, I'd rather drive in on Noah or Bogut than Shaq and Hakeem any day of the week. Rodman was a f'in pit bull who would eat these boys today.

Being physical doesn't make your defense better, it makes teams go to the free throw line more. Scoring was also higher in the 90s than it is today. Every thing but man to man defense used to be illegal defense.

I'm more than twice drinking age and I'll tell you that crap they were playing in the 90's was absolutely unwatchable. The game doesn't need to be that physical. Those Knicks-Heat series were about as bad as basketball can be.

I don't know man. The game has lost TONS of popularity because of this style today. The 80's and 90's were the height of NBA popularity. There's no debating it.
