This is a bad take. A bad, bad take.

Josh Jackson will be an NBA all star.

No sh*t sherlock. I wasnt saying Ferguson was better. I was saying what KU has on their roster... I think Ferguson makes them better.

Selden and his 40% 3pt shooting made Graham and Mason so much better because they could drive and just dish out to wide open 3pt shooter and (other than the NCAAT) 40% of the time the shot would fall... Ferguson allows them to keep doing that but with Jackson.... who cares if he takes the shot because he's not close to that good of a shooter from outside.

If KU had a PG or SG that could create for themselves ...I'd say Jackson in a heart beat...

Jackson has been developing his shot. He won't be a gun from deep, at least at first, but keeps defenses honest because he can obviously knock them down. He's shooting 50% from 3 in his two all star games.

It doesn't matter if Terrance Ferguson has a decent outside jumper, Jackson's overall game is ridiculous. KU has enough 3 pt potential with Mason, Green, and Graham. Ferguson is a solid player, and had the hot hand at the hoops summit, but you don't pass up on one of the best HS prospects in the last 5 years who has an amazing motor and sense of the game for a guy that could maybe stretch your offense.

Jackson makes KU a title contender next year. Ferguson would be really nice to have, but Jackson is a complete game changer.

Uh you don't think Graham and Mason can create? Mason and Graham also both shot better from 3 than Selden and Svi is also there and Vick as well, Vick shot better than Selden from 3 as a freshman.

RC we don't know that. A lot of hints that some people DO know and that it is KU but until he announces I wouldn't go spreading that around because we are going to look galactically foolish if he chooses MSU. .

kinda like when Matt Scott said Randle was a KU lock

very few people are actually in the "know"
unless it was from him or his mother, i would not believe anything said

What hints that people know? From what I can ascertain, nobody knows. Didn't he say in some interview this weekend that he won't even tell his family until today?

If I were KU or MSU fans I wouldn't put much stock into crazy Twitter rumors.

I'm talking about Izzo. And I don't know if that's supposed to be some kind of burn but losing to Villanova is something a lot of good teams did this year. There's no shame in that outcome, wish I could say the same for Michigan State.
MSU does more with less almost every year than KU so just stop crowing jackhawk. Self and KU are the ones usually flaming out early to inferior competition.

Doing "more with less" means you are getting worse players. It's like saying Indiana is performing better than UK. I'm not "crowing" I'm trying to make a point.

And your point is not valid based on many years instead of just last year. Using IU is laughable.

He's so good it won't matter.

But, his choice will be KU. They are going to be very good with him next year. Top 5 team

[roll] Not at your post, I just read something like that every single season, I just want to know when it actually happens (That KU will be very good)..[roll]

I'm pretty sure Green left or is leaving.

My point isn't based on one year, it's based on Izzo's career. Somebody please tell me how he's more qualified to get Jackson when he's had more early exits than Self?

Says on his Twitter feed it will be announced 8:30 EST. Very odd time. Could be because Arizona is on the West Coast, but aren't they pretty much out of it?

Haven't heard anything about it. Kimohawk?

Greene has left and is hiring an agent to go to the NBA. Why would he do such a thing? Nobody knows for sure, but there is a LOT of smoke around Greene. Know what I mean?

Word is he got in trouble in Louisville and it was the final straw. Heard from more than one source he was busted at the hotel, either by staff or cops.

Also heard he has a problem with taking things that aren't his, just a rumor. But someone said he had been kicked out of the student housing at KU and had to stay with some University employees and then stole from them as well. If true, he's a knucklehead. Good shooter, bad roommate.

I guess to not lose in the second round of the NCAA tournament as a 2-seed to a double-digit seeded opponent.

Wiggins did enough to not lose draft position. But lets not act like he set college basketball on fire. His numbers were fine, but watching him play was very underwhelming.
Embiid being hurt was huge. Was probably going to be #1 pick.

Greene was a frequent resident in the Self Doghouse. One or both may have decided that a change of address was the best. Greene is a great shooter when someone gets him a shot. He has a tough time getting his own shot and defense is hobby for him and a part-time hobby at best. But I enjoyed watching him shoot the ball. I find it hard to believe that he will be on a NBA roster next season.

Wow, didn't know this. So, they are probably losing Ellis, Traylor, Mickelson, Diallo, Selden and Greene? I guess the only one of those in doubt is Diallo. That's a lot to replace. So, Svi is staying as of now?

If stating an opinion, any opinion on a fan board that doesn't come true makes me look foolish....thank god I won't be by myself!

I don't think Diallo is much in doubt. He has a handler that wants Cheick to make NBA money. I think he is gone. Svi is somewhat in doubt. He could make decent money in Europe or he could come back. He will be 19 years old when the season starts and a JR. I think he comes back.

Yeah it's interesting to think about that Josh Jackson is older than Svi.

Mason, Graham, Jackson, Bragg, Lucas will be a nice starting five, but I'm still not sold on M & G as a championship backcourt. If they lose Svi, as is rumored, depth may be a concern.
