The best shoe rumor yet.... Rmfao
He didn't order a pair with tcu so I guess they are outWhat about TCU?
He ordered boots, obviously. He didn't order a pair with tcu so I guess they are out
Which could be construed to mean it looks very similar to Grayson Allen's face so the quandary continues...is it UK or is it Duke, heads or tails?I heard he customized his dogs *** to look like the back of Noel's head.
BS. Many of us have been saying this for months. And I like Bam at the 5 better than at the 4.
Based on rumors and some info a little stronger than rumors, I think it's very likely Bolden has ordered some custom shoes - most likely from both teams. The shoe ceremony replaces the hat ceremony. Bolden doesn't look like a hat guy anyway.

And we know he'd definitely give more than 6 and 6 Lee gave last year?
And we know Humphires and SKJ won't be ready to contribute anything outside of Lee and Bam?
And we know that a big lineup is better than a lineup that features Fox, Monk, Briscoe, Gabriel, and Bam?
I want Bolden, but I'm not sold that he's difference. I'd rather have Briscoe back. Obviously I'd take them both.
I've seen this a couple of times.
I guess we would be a faster team with more spacing, but Bam is not a great low block scorer.
I also believe his best qualities will be stymied by facing the 5 and 4 in the paint.
Whereas a solid 5 would free Bam up on the boards and create better weak side offensive and defensive opportunities.
After the lack of interior offense this season i'd rather not experience it again next year.
First of all, Lee is pitiful. And I'm not bashing him at all, it is what it is. Bolden is way better than Lee, and yea, it's a guarantee. Lee does nothing. Agree. Unless Lee makes drastic improvement in the offseason(still possible)
Humphries is what he is. He's serviceable, and was rercruited to be security, not a huge part of our rotation. Maybe for next season but he's still only 18. Still has a ton of time for improvement and a lot of tools.
Briscoe is probably not coming back. That's not what most are saying.
Bolden is huge for us for all the reasons I stated. Duke getting him would add a ton of depth and another front court big. We don't need them getting him with all of their other recourses. Agree
What happens if Bam gets in foul trouble? Valid point.
I don't care what anyone says, we need Bolden. We could win it without him, but our odds are much better with him IMO. He's better than most realize.
First of all Lee isnt pitiful. Is he a stud center? No. Can he come off the bench and play 10-15 minutes a game, rebound and block shots, catch some oops, eff yes.
Idk why anybody would ever want a recruit in order to hurt another team more than to help your own team. I'd say ur in the minority there
Lol our program has gotten to the point where Marcus Lee can't play 15 minutes.
Some of you are idiots.
Piss off.
What's the odds we even end up playing duke in the tourney? I just can't see anybody saying "man I hope we get bolden just so duke isn't as dominant!" That would just be ludicrous.I couldn't care less if people can't see it. wouldn't be the first time the truth wasn't in the majority.
There are very few teams who can compete with a talented UK team in the tournament, Duke being one of the most dangerous. If you can't see why thats an issue, then that's your problem, it certainly isn't mine.
Anyone know Garrett Tucker?

Capel wasn't even the assistant that was recruiting Bolden.Damn!
To me, Bolden only becomes a necessity if Skal is in fact gone. Honestly, I would rather have a second year Skal, than a freshman Bolden. The reason is fairly simple, Skal would be much better on next year's team than he was on last year's team, as there would be less focus on him. Secondly, Skal would space the floor better than Bolden, and then all the sudden you have what you want with floor spacing without having to give up defensively. He will never be AD, but he did play better at the end of the year, and with a summer and fall of working out, and instruction, I think Skal is what we expected him to be this year, next year. A line-up of Fox, Monk, Gabriel, Bam and Skal has the potential to be deadly on both ends of the court. A line-up of Fox, Monk, Gabriel, Bam and Bolden has the potential to be slightly less deadly on the offensive end, but possibly as good defensively. The real fear is that the line-up includes Willis instead of Bolden or Skal in the event that Skal stays in the draft, and Bolden goes to Duke. I like Willis, and he helped a lot this year, but if we have to start Willis, then we will struggle on the interior again. And let's not make Willis out to be more than he is, a bigger Cameron Mills. He is a spot up shooter who struggles a bit on the defensive end. He will be important cog on next year's team, as he gives you some spacing, but that spacing needs to be in spurts during the game, not the entire game.
I think how we play hinges a lot on whether we get Briscoe back.
With Briscoe back, we almost have to start Willis at the 4. If not you have three guys in the game who are no threats to score outside of 15 feet. Spacing becomes a big problem.
Without Briscoe, then I think we start Fox, Monk, Gabriel, SKJ, and Adebayo. That could be an outstanding defensive team. The guards are 6'4 like Cal likes, so he can switch everything.
Offensively, Monk is a great shooter, Fox is a decent shooter, and Gabriel is suppose to be a decent shooter. Throw in Bam and SKJ who are above average shooters for big men and we should be able to space the floor, stretching the defense to keep them honest. And that team is ideal for running the floor and scoring in transition.
Bring Willis off the bench for shooting and leadership. Hawkins filling in for the superstar guards. Lee and Humphries giving us depth inside. Matthews gives us another athlete on the wing.
With Bolden, then we are stronger and deeper inside. I think we start Bam and Bolden inside together with Fox, Monk, and Gabriel on the perimeter.
Don't get me wrong, I want Briscoe back, but it does present some lineup issues if he comes back. Willis (or Gabriel if his stroke from 3 is good) will almost have to start or we are very limited on offense.
I agree. I think some get caught up with this Golden State type way of playing sometimes. I'm with you though, I think it would negate some of Bam's best qualities. As much as I hate to say it, UNC is looking pretty good with a more traditional frontcourt lineup with 2 bigs. I'd rather go that route with a player like Bam. It would play more to his strengths and also Bolden's strengths if we can land him. Would free Bam up as well.
