For sure games.

vs Michigan State (New York, NY)
at Louisville
vs North Carolina (Las Vegas, NV)
vs UCLA
vs South Florida
vs Hofstra (Brooklyn, NY)
vs Arizona State (Bahamas)
vs Big XII opponent

I've also said I have a feeling we end up playing Northern Kentucky at Rupp.
Don't be surprised if we play a game against UMass one of these years too. I'd love to play UMass in Philadelphia or something.

We should be favored in all those games, and I imagine we go through OOC with 2 losses or less, with a VERY good chance we go through it with out a blemish. Kentucky will be much more balanced next year, with 6 or 7 guys who can take over a game and win it. SEC roads games will always be tough, but can't see us dropping too many of those. I'm glad to see the SEC make some smart coaching hires recently, but which team is actually going to compete with us?

If I had to call it, Kentucky will be a #1 seed next year, or maybe a high #2 seed. Barring an injury, or another Skal situation, I don't see how we get anything less.

I hope Cal beefs up the OOC as much as possible. The rest of the SEC is doing us no favors in regards to the RPI. We need to get quality wins outside of conference because about the only thing we get out of our SEC schedule is bad RPI losses.

Do we play UCLA for sure? I have never seen confirmation for that game.

Is Vandy playing UK twice a year permanently?

Wonder who our new coach is gonna be?

Great non conference schedule as always. But we should be favored in all. I think ( if Briscoe comes back) we drop 1 non conference game and 2 SEC games .

The longer it goes the less likely you get a big name. I am hearing an announcement by mid week

I do like the silence though, but I agree with you on dragging things out being not good.

I really really hope we announce tomorrow and it's who I want. 50/50.

I agree, but the biggest problem is the horrendous home whistle the **** SEC teams get which kill our resume. @UT, @Auburn, even @aTm with the technical foul. Minus those first two losses and we would have for sure been a 3 seed. It's good to have a strong OOC, but the ridiculous SEC whistle hurts us even more.

Do you know what arena the game in vegas will be played in? They just opened a new one on the strip this month. Will that be the one? Also does anyone know when tickets will go on sale for that game?

It looks like we have a friendlier non conference schedule then last year, ironically the better uk team gets the easier schedule.

UK gets UCLA and the big 12 opponent in rupp where we always win instead of on the road. Arizona state is neutral but they suck. I'm not sure what team Louisville will have.

Why do we randomly get Hofstra in the Barclays center?

They are ranked number 1 preseason in Kenpom. They will be very tough.

I really do not get that. They lost their best 2 players. VJ King is no Savior...heck Pitino has never had a 5-star freshmen perform well besides Ron Mercer.

Besides that...how are they getting #1?

Looks like we struck out on our top choices and are now in scramble mode.

Since your athletic department is one in the same as your intramural program, you guys should just have an open tryout. Best student-coach gets a free ride for a year. If he wins more than 8 games, he gets a two year extension. Talk about building excitement, that would be really cutting edge.

Yeah, that means next to nothing. Their two best players are gone and they have one good recruit coming in. They will suck.

I disagree.

If they don't get hammered by the NCAA they will likely have a top 10 squad.

G Snider
G Mitchell
F King
F Spaulding
F Onuaku(I think he comes back)

Snider and Mitchell should be a very good backcourt. The frontcourt is very deep with Onuaku and Mathiang inside plus Spaulding and Johnson. Add King with Adel at the 3 and they have talent and depth along that frontline.

We should be better, but the game is in Louisville. I wouldn't be surprised if they pull a minor upset.

No clue either, but if Onaoku stays, a softmore Mitchell, Adell, they will be pretty loaded.

It that is a Top Ten lineup that says a LOT about college basketball these days. 20 yrs ago that's not a Top 40 lineup.

I agree, the atrocious road whistle we get is always our biggest problem! Even our 2012 National Championship team (and last year's loaded team) barely squeaked out single digit road wins to horrible SEC teams!
