Really nice day outside. Went to Gold Star and had a couple coneys.

April fools... or IS IT!?!?!

I am also kicking *** at work however it is kicking back. New role has all the headaches and then some. If anyone knows of an experienced insurance agent looking for a gig that's pretty effing awesome, let me know. Recruiting is a sonofagun.

Insurance must be desperate. There for a while I was getting cold called once a week or so by recruiters in that industry. Not sure what about General Manager, Software Development screams I want to sell insurance but apparently it did.

Tough gig to make it in, not unlike any other sales position where you start from Zero (unless you purchase a book, of course). I'm one of 2 agents left that I was hired/trained with 7+ years ago...(out of 20 something).

The grind is worth it in the end, but like most sales positions, it takes good while successfully slangin' to get there -- and you either have it, or you don't.

The Life-Only insurance companies are hiring 24/7/365 -- I can't even begin to imagine working for one of those. :weary:

Wish Murray well, glad he chose UK, helped the team in a big way. His memory for me is always going to be tainted by his 1-9 against IU though. Ooommph.

And the fact that he's a black canuck. Those dudes are weirdos.

Least favorite one & done in Cal era?

Goodwin for me, probably. Nothing against the kid, it's just I never really felt a connection with him and the team sucked donkey balls.

Danny Orton gets the silver.

And while I love every Wildcat like a son, if I had to pick #3, I'm leaning Jimmy Buckets. Nothing personal, of course.

How he developed into a decent NBA player boggles my mind. My only memory of Archie here was him driving the lane and falling down 100% of the time.

I get why Goodwin went but he probably could have used another year at UK though I don't know if I could handle watching a team with both Young and Goodwin.

If there's an NCAA record for "most shots that hit the bottom of the rim while shooter is wildly out of control and falling down in the lane," Goodwin has it. By a mile.

Though he's the biggest bust in the Cal era, I can't dislike Skal. Not just because of the "he almost died in an earthquake" thing, but because he seems like a really good kid.

I think I might just quit my job and jump full time into writing erotic thrillers for housewives. It can't be that hard.

"Tad looked at Bryanna's nice butt. 'Man that is a nice butt,' he said, admiring her nice butt. Then they banged."

Had a patient who claimed she was a famous romantic novel author. She was exactly what you'd expect. Single, 50, quite large, and quite crazy.

She said the secret to her writing success is that she imagined every main character in her books as her boyfriend and she would fantasize about their fake relationship. So she had "many men in her life."

After I gave her a little meds and was wheeling her back to OR she told me she was going to make me her new protagonist. So somewhere out there I have a fake 50 yo girlfriend writing erotic novels about me.

Can you imagine if Orton and Gillespie were actually here together? I give it 15 games before they get into a fistfight on the bench. Orton was slow and crazy while Gillespie was drunk and crazy. Wonderful combination, those two.

Honestly surprised Orton and cousins never got into a documented fist fight. Cousins seems like the type that wouldn't put up with Orton's crybaby ish and dirty play.

I checked twitter and saw nada about any scuttlebutt or anything.
Well check rafters and hob maybe other rival sites. It's there, but I'm not going to post the 20 posts. Just putting it out there that it's actually possible at this point in time he could return.
