Did Bolden commit to UK?

Wow, quite the soap opera. Either way we've got 5, 5 star recruits coming, and 4 burger AA's. When K decided to throw staying 4 years out of his playbook and became a player in the OAD recruit game we knew he'd be a formidable opponent.

Would be interesting to know how much Bolden has tipped his hat in his decision as Bolden and people close to him have supposedly been pretty tight-lipped about it. I wonder what information the latest crystal ball change is based on.

Can't wait to hear the media praise Coach K for his "groundbreaking" Platoon system.

This happens whenever college or pro teams are making things happen behind the scenes, and by that I mean misdirection. I'm not saying Kentucky will get Bolden, but you could rattle off 10 dudes in the Cal era that were shoe-ins for Kentucky and misinformation (for whatever reason) made us think otherwise right up until the decision.

Can you give more insight?

It was more of how Fox and Monk said he reacted when they were trying to recruit him. Monk acted like Bolden wasn't very receptive to it and said "he's buggin."

When I asked Bolden about the process, he was just tired and it was difficult and had no exact time table for his announcement.

Damn, that's a bummer.

Duke has 4 straight crystal ball picks and 5 of last 6. Meyer seems like he will be switching his choice soon as well.

From everything I've gathered he will pick Duke. This blows. Once again we will have an average front court next year.

Kentucky won't go into next season again, regardless of whether they get Bolden or not, without a true low post scorer like this past season.

Eh, this feels like total misdirection to me. I'll believe UK unless Bolden says otherwise.

No clue...I think Cal got desperate last year when so many said no and he just grabbed some random guys. Not sure either will ever do anything at UK.

The main reason I asked this question is because these 2 players are not typical to the type of Big's Cal wants. He relies on a rim protector so we can play tight defense on the perimeter. Humphries actually blocked some shots this year, but he is hardly the athletic freak Cal loves in the post.

Now, if those 2 have kept UK from signing Bolden, they had better perform this season!!

I believe there's a guy named Isaac Humphries on the roster.

We will have to disagree then. If Humphries is the starting big guy and UK's low post threat than we won't be close to the team many thought we would be next year.

Humphries will develop into a lot better player in the offseason, and that is the worst case scenario I've mentioned. Calipari stated he is adding another big man, and with or without Bolden, I look for him to add that need.
