-Allen Edwards wasn't a surprise to me solely for the fact I had two different groups from Wyoming come into work in the last couple years, see my UK gear on and just glow about him as a community leader, coach and representative of their program. Good on him. Always had a spot for him since my brother helped him in school at UK and I was able to sit with him a few different occasions. Hope he does a tremendous job there.

-Spring Break, shewee. Yes the thong is just getting sported everywhere. Bars, restaurants, down the street, no limits.

-Rob Bailey & the Hustle Standard regarding workout music. Good stuff, check it out. Music literally made to lift.

Wrong Dukie, IMO.

Think he plays a lot like Luol Deng.

I'd say this is pretty accurate. I love Gabriel. Think he's a stud. Even love his form and think he can be a decent shooter next year from deep. I just don't want him playing out of position in this era.

I remember several interviews with Gabriel where he said one of the big reasons he liked UK and Cal was because Cal told him he could play the 3, his preferred position, so take that how you will.

Gotta give Willis his minutes and he played his best at the 4, Bam is going to get a huge chunk of the minutes at the 4, SKJ will get some minutes at the 4 you would have to imagine with his ball skills. Gabriel at the 3 makes the most sense for next years team anyway.

Yeah, I know. I also know that that doesn't mean dick once he gets here. I also know Cal probably will play him out of position like he did with Lyles and Poythress and that will F our offense, which is what I'm pissed off about already.

Saw an article where Panama City Beach was crying about all the lost revenue and how its hurting their economy that all the Spring Breakers took notice that they passed a bunch of laws that made it a no fun zone...Good luck with that. You declare war on these kids and they will boycott you. Good for the millennials.

We want the Warriors. Cal wants the Spurs. We're getting the Spurs next season.
In fairness to Cal, and what we've discussed on here numerous times, is that they are two different sports. You can't even have a warriors type team in college...at least not in the sense of the freedom of ball movement, you can jack up bad 3's whenever.

I'm all for shooting and skill but having a loaded front court like last year and just bullying teams is the way college bball begs to be played. So Marcus...was a fluke we didn't win it all last year.

Its also possible to blame the current generation for video taping their assaults, overdoses, beach rapes, etc. If people continue to push the envelope, eventually you go too far...

Pissed off we haven't replicated the 64-7 Warriors yet. Seems like a no-brainer.

-FLAVOR: Archie Miller gives me a "I'll kill my first born to win this game" vibe. Sort of that distant look in his eyes that an early 90's Pitino also seemed to have. Intrigued.

Next year, Cal will have Willis right where he wants him...sitting next to the coaches on the bench.

True, it is a slippery slope. How to keep out the idiots while letting the rest of the herd enjoy some fun.

- I know we're all bitter right now, but this incoming class is just stupid talented. Wish we had one knockdown shooter but Fox's form is gorgeous. Same with Gabriel. Monk will hit a few, too. Defensively and athletically, this class is off the charts. Intimidating. Fox appears to have some great leadership skills, too. Curious about SKJ. Lot of skill. Pretty good athlete, too. You'd think he's a two-year guy but never know with Calipari.

- Already pumped for the high school All-Star games.

- So, Cronin is negotiating with UNLV. Not sure he ends up taking it or not. I don't know many UC fans who'd be too upset, despite his decent success. Plays an uglyass brand of basketball...as opposed to X across town, who's made hay recruiting mostly undervalued Indiana high school kids and developed them.

- Cincy/NKy area folks- what bars should I check with regarding Keeneland bus trips?

Can't predict Cal on that for sure but we will need the outside shooting, so i expect Willis to get some nice minutes.

Ha, sorry doggie. Didn't see your alleged Deng/Gabriel comp. I honestly don't remember coming across it but lol at Chad's hate. I get it.

That Anthony Peeler/Austin Freeman ([laughing]) comp forever lingers and would be tough for anyone to shake off.

Senior year high school we had GD Keg in our room every night. $5 at the door.

Good buddy's dad was the AD at our Catholic Church. Swiped his dads key and stole a empty keg night before departure.

The Last night the PCB Sheriff's dept. came on a loud noise complaint. When they saw the keg they sat us all down and demanded answers how we got the keg up to the 17th floor without no one noticing.

They refused to believe that we used the side door and then the five of us roided up dixie highway young guns carried it up the steps.

Sorry, man- didn't mean to discourage your unique comparisons. You don't see me popping my shirt about my Klay Thompson/Devin Booker comparison. You know why? Because it was obvious and every other :basketball: came to it, too.

I'll just say it. I hate you and BBdK. Worst posters in this thread.

Like it or not, Cal is going to use Willis like he used Wiltjer in 2012. Put him down for eight minutes a game and 1-2 clutch threes. He'll tighten up the rotation too. Seven or eight guys max once we get to mid-February.

SAE and I had a nice convo last night about this VR Porn news, which apparently now is going to have a nice selection of Free thanks to our friends at PHUb.

Joey & other dorks, please recommend a nice affordable starter headset for us. (Not google cardboard, that looks wack AF) [cheers]

I can't stop laughing at the thought of being deep into this virtual reality, and having my wife come home from work to find me looking like this with my pants down.

Gabriel/Willis could probably work together at the 3/4 because both can stretch a D and Gabriel can guard 3s.
