Oh snap I just realized UNC loses their whole team after this run. Nobody commits to UNC anymore huh? Damn that's awesome to see and know. Maybe they won't even win the championship this year? Dang I get excited that they may enjoy some Indiana type bad years. Is it possible they could suffer? Gosh I hope so. Sure would be a shame to not see the demise of North Carolina.
I bet y'all throwed parties you didn't have to play Ulis and Murray. I bet you slept real good after KY got beat. UNC fans can kiss it.

UNC is soft. Roy has soft teams and has for years now. They won't win the title, and I'm snot sure they get passed indiana.

16 of my friends\family drawed two teams from round of 32. Winner gets $320. I freaking drawed Duke and UNC.
Yea I'm torn over wanting the money but also wanting the ACC to go down in flames.
I really want all ACC teams to lose out on making the final four. I want to laugh at them. 6 teams in the sweet sixteen and no final four. That would be so nice. I might cry from the joy of watching each team go down.
Because you see I hate the ACC more than any conference in any sport. ESPN shoved that damn conference in our faces for so long.....

UNC has 3 seniors and a few guys who leave early ( Jackson for sure and maybe one other) . They will be decent ( a 8-9 type seed ) next year but no they are done for while as they haven't gotten a top 20 recruit in forever. They 2 top 75 guys coming in but neither will be a star as freshman . They might win it this year ( I doubt it as they have too many flaws) but they are going to be in dumps after that for a while.

Don't be so fast to say Jackson is leaving but IF any do leave, it'll be him. I also believe Tony Bradley is ranked 21st by ESPN. He'll be a nice back up to Meeks & Hicks. Also Seventh Woods will get plenty of PT. Looks like a nice group to me. We'll be a top 4 seed for sure.

Joel Berry or whatever ain't winning crap as your main point guard. Who else you got at the most important tourney position? I'd trade you Briscoe for Hicks and Woods? Deal?

Berry has won 30 games & counting as Carolina's starting PG.
Nah, you can keep Briscoe.

I think Indiana may beat UNC Thursday actually....I think Indiana will go to the final four this year; although just like in 2003 when Crean went to the final four, I think thats as far as he goes.

I don't know. Brice Johnson has really developed and he plays with an incredible nasty streak now. He is the main reason I did not think we could beat them if we had gotten past Indiana. He plays angry in a similar way MKG did and the rest of the team seems to feed off of it.

Theyre who I picked to win it. And I really hope I'm wrong because they shouldnt even be playing right now.

This is why it's so important that UNC doesn't make the Final Four this season. It would extend their streak to 7 years, and certainly become 8 years next season. That's an eternity for UNC and its fans, who are complicit in holding up the face of a program that has been stained with corruption.

We lose our whole team??? Really??? I thought we only had 3 seniors.

Jackson won't be returning to that slum show next season, not with Paige, Meeks and Johnson departing.

Knowing how bad UNC is going to be over the next half-decade, there must limitless pressure on your program to win it all this season.

Meeks is just a junior. The seniors are Paige, Johnson & James.

And he's currently projected as a top 50 pick in next year's draft. With a late surge, I see him leaving, along with Jackson and the seniors. UK learned this lesson over the last 6 or 7 years. When a team has success, the fringe guys get swept up in the flood.

Maybe I'll be wrong, though. Williams has successfully mastered the art of keeping his fringe players around longer than anyone expected them to stay.

Why are you bringing up Briscoe? You do realize he was not our point guard this year, nor will he be next year, if he is even here. And no other UK fans or myself do not think he should go pro but that doesn't mean he won't.

Word out of NC is that Meeks is gone, and and maybe one or two more... That there is a lot of unhappiness at development and the like. Getting a start on a basketball career, overseas if need be.

Nah, actually I'm at work.Truth be told, I would've rather played UK than IU. Oh well, that's how it goes.

Kentucky beats IU 6-7/10 games, and I'm just being completely honest. You're an idiot, not that anyone didn't already know. Hopefully you all get Creaned, and fade into oblivion.

They suck at all times in all ways, they are able to play basketball at a decent level from time to time but even then they suck. Bottom feeding, cheating POS school/program.

As a biased UNC fan lol, I don't believe the drop off will be as great as others expect. Joel Berry has turned into a hell of a PG this season, one of our most consistent players, and will be one of the top 10 in the country next season imo. Pinson might be our best passer and defender and could be a very good player next year. If Jackson returns, I believe he will be a 15-17 PPG scorer and a great defender with strong length at the wing position. Hicks was 6th man of the year in the ACC and is a load to handle in the post as one of the most athletic PFs in the country. Meeks is a great rebounder and has shown flashes of becoming a great low post scorer over his career. The bench:
Britt
Bradley (5* C/PF recruit)
Kenny Williams
Seventh Woods (4* G recruit)
Brandon Robinson (4* G recruit)
Luke Maye

While it isn't the strongest bench, if you add a solid post grad PF you have a very strong team. Top 10 even. Of course this is only if everyone returns and players develop as expected.

If the NCAA does what they should do, then you will suck beyond measure and possibly be missing a few banners to boot. UNC is synonymous with cheating and sleazy collegiate athletics.

Alrighty, well I'm just trying to talk about next years team which has nothing to do with the scandal at all and have a good conversation about the team next year.

And I'm fine with that. Unless you're so idiotic that you would have rather played UK than IU in the Sweet-16. Then no, I don't want to discuss basketball with you anymore. UK had the best backcourt in college basketball.

When did I say that lol? I was hoping IU would win. Ulis and Murray scared the hell out of me.

UNC is going to be solid next year unless they win the title and (Jackson, Berry, and Hicks) all leave. I know everybody desperately wants them to suffer for the cheating but with Berry and Hicks alone they could make the tournament. One of Meeks or Jackson will likely be back because Roy will beg like he usually does for them to return and they do have some solid if not spectacular recruits. They did strike out on 15-20 5 star recruits this year and the long term outlook for UNC is still dark but I don't see a total collapse next year unless they win the title and there is a mass exodus.

I can't decide who I would rather win this game. I am afraid if UNCheat wins, they have a good shot of winning a title, which would make me beyond sick. I think IU is more likely to get beat by someone if they win this, but I hate both teams so much I can manage to root for either.
Yeah, I still haven't decided who I would rather win that game.
I just don't see what all the talking heads see with this UNC team, they don't look very impressive at all to me. I think IU beats them but hopefully IU gets beat in the E8.
Maybe we will all get lucky and Oregon will win the whole thing.

There ain't no way that squad is a top 4 seed. Just none . You will make the tourney yes but as an 8-10 seed as that team is sorely lacking talent .
