Second nature I was thinking Aggies but they got the hell out before Big 12 falls apart and came to the best football conference in the land. Their hoops ain't bad tho!
But you had to take MethZoo too. I wouldn't have taken that deal...
Hello RC, Methzoo LOL, I've never thought one thing or another about them thru all my years. Are ya saying ya don't miss em?But you had to take MethZoo too. I wouldn't have taken that deal...
RC was here and has totally checked out after he said he wasn't ready to throw the towel in on the league last night........Texas loses.
Poof. Gone.
These Kansas fans are the worst.

Is over-rated worse that never-rated?
[ 4167900, member: 24939"]I was tired of fighting with a SEC guy who only had 2 teams in the 64-team tournament and claiming that was better than 7. At a certain point, why bang your head?
In this case yes. So you're admitting it? I know it kind of deminishes your national conference titles, and connects those dots your people have been running from for decades, but give it time. Kansas is still an ok basketball program.
We can't help the media bias. I figured you'd admit it now that another big12 went down.
After all these years of your league failing over and over, you're still not gonna do it.
Ok.
But the basketball nation is laughing their *** off. Again.
No I just find it funny that Rupp has 3 or 4 Threads calling out a league for sending 70% of it's teams to the Tournament. Are there threads on UofL boards about the SEC NIT teams? Let's look at the SEC and the Big12 in the Sweet 16, Elite 8 and Final Four. We will compare then. I don't run from anything.
I'm not quite sure I get your argument. I get your agenda.
SEC's top 2 (now for the record, you only got three teams into the tournament) teams made it to the second round of the tournament.
Big12's top 3 (of 4) teams made it to the second round of the tournament.
Texas lost on a prayer and that's the nature of the tournament.
For the record, you are hooting and hollering quite a bit against the Big12 when Kentucky may go home today, since Indiana is a very dangerous team.
It's just typical. The league is overrated. It's just what it is.
UK won't lose to Indiana, but I bet Kansas loses to Uconn. Big12 champ usually goes home 2nd round.
Your league is hyped up, by the media, and that's why you get so many teams in. Once they're in, they're out, because that's what being overrated is. Now, eventually, you've got to come to terms with this.

Our league is hyped by the media, in part, based on how it performs in the out of conference schedule. If the SEC performed well in the out of conference, it would be hyped too.
Better to underperform early, than to suck late, which is what you do.
I guess I just don't understand what it would take for big12 fans to admit the league is overrated. It's gets its *** handed to it yearly in the tournament, Kansas wins it with ease every single year, Kansas goes home early nearly every single year. I mean, tell me, how much of this does it take for you to say, hey, the league isn't as good as we think?
Better to underperform early, than to suck late, which is what you do.
How well it performs in the out-of-conference schedule? The true test is playing out-of-conference teams in the tournament. I'll take the SEC's record over the past decade than the B12 any day. Congrats on being the top turd on a big pile of crap. Our league is hyped by the media, in part, based on how it performs in the out of conference schedule. Are you kidding? Better to stay home than play in the NCAA? Better to Suck early? Come on man...

That's the whole point. As has been said before, and the gist of this thread, the B12 is over rated. My post was in response to the Big 12 being hyped. The hype happens before the NCAA tournament and is valid based on what I posted.
I'll take the SEC's tournament history over your crap leagues ANY day. You want to play that game? Really?
Enjoy beating St. Peter's in your 3rd game. Enjoy the media hype. The SEC has the hardware, your league has the losses.
Big12 fans want to talk brag about getting bids (they shouldn't get), then don't want to discus what happens as soon as they step out of conference in the tournament. And we all know why.
They totally suck. One of the worst leagues all time in the NCAA's.
When you consider bid numbers. The SEC totally kicks their *** in this category, which, they won't admit, is all that matters.
I'm trying to remember, who are the last teams to make the final four, title game, and or championship besides Kansas in the last decade?
Explain how 2 is greater than 7?
Well I will agree that Kansas dominates the league...
No BUTS...I disagree with you that SEC teams that are home watching the tournament on TV right now because they suck AND don't get beat in the NCAA Tournament proves that the SEC is better than the Big12. At least 70% of the Big12 goes...SEC will never be able to say that. Never.

Well then, can you explain why playing in the B12 doesn't prepare the teams for playing in the tournament? Is it because the competition isn't that tough, or is it just bad luck?No BUTS...I disagree with you that SEC teams that are home watching the tournament on TV right now because they suck AND don't get beat in the NCAA Tournament proves that the SEC is better than the Big12.
