IU hitting EVERYTHING

Yeah UTC's defense was pathetic. IU won't be able to run to the lane all night against UK on Saturday.
If our bigs show up, we win. If they don't, we won't. Just like any other game against a good team. Having to count on Poy and Skal should worry us all, unfortunately.

Don't know who Wesley Matthews is and don't care. I don't watch NBA. Yes I know these things are usually copied from NBA teams and so do other UK fans. But I haven't heard of other college teams doing it while we have been for a while. Why don't you head on back to your board to celebrate that win over Chatty and cut some nets down or something while doing your goofy copy cat arrow shot.

Exactly right. They were grossly underseeded, just like us. I'm not normally a conspiracy theory guy, but I do think it's quite suspicious how the NCAA underseeded both IU and UK to conveniently set up its marquee 2d round matchup guaranteed to ensure TV ratings gold.

Yep. Committee does all the teams involved a terrible disservice when they manipulate the match ups. The lower seeds get screwed and the higher seeds end up having to face the caliber of the selected opponent far to early in the tournament
iU is a quality team. Yogi is good and they have some solid others and play together. But everybody, including
us looks a lot better with loose defenseive pressure on the other side . Chattanooga played way off the ball and allowed IU to go where they wanted on the floor anytime they wanted. Change that to pressuring the ball until the dribbler has to turn themselves and deny some passing lanes and you see a different team with the same players.... And again that goes for anybody. So hard to tell too much tonight but IU ain't bad.

It just depends on which UK team shows up. If we come out hungry and focused, it will be a shootout. IU will be lights out most likely.

Ok, enough smack talk, I'm excited to see these two teams play this weekend. Looking at both boards you guys are a little worried about IU's offense and we're a little worried about your defense. Strength on strength, and we get to see Yogi and Ulis match up. Might be the game of the tournament. I'll raise a glass to UK tonight and curse them like a sailor on Saturday.
We know EJ Floreal stole the bow and arrow from Matthews in the NBA, he said as much in interviews. Later, Murray took it to the court since EJ isn't able to. IU wasn't doing it in 2014, Matthews started it in December of that year.
