LSU not accepting any postseason tourney bids since they didn't make the tournament. They gotta fire Jones don't they? If they give even the slightest **** about basketball.
Almost guarantee Simmons wouldn't qualify, or wouldn't go, or both.

There's shoe deals a'waitin'.

I'm not afraid of IU. They just played a neutral site game in their own state and lost to a bubble team without its best player. IU fans are shitting their pants right now. Believe that!

Can't believe Coach Cal has a TV above his fireplace:

I was really hoping this would go unnoticed.

This is not Cal's Primary TV.

He is rich and has a home theater. (And the previous owner maintained the sanctity of the mantle to boot).

Also, his living room becomes a television studio every March and the TV has to be, literally, above the media fray in order to be seen by everyone in the room.

Get Real.

UK is ahead of A&M significantly in RPI, BPI, Sagari. and KenPom. lol

This is the big elephant in the room that the NCAA Selection Committee will never be able to answer. There's not a SINGLE. OBJECTIVE. MEASUREMENT that supports their decision to put TAMU on the 3-line.

According to the RPI (12th), Sagarin (8th), BPI (10th), and KenPom (8th), we're a lock 3-seed --- even a borderline 2-seed. The NCAA somehow rated us as a borderline 5-seed, coming in at 15th overall. [laughing]

On the other hand, TAMU's ratings are: RPI (17th), Sagarin (17th), BPI (17th), and KenPom (17th). So, in all four major indices, TAMU is rated as a solid 5-seed, but they squeeze into the 3-line as the 12th overall. [laughing]

Oh, and we are ranked ahead of TAMU in both the AP and USAToday Coaches polls .... BEFORE our f*cking win today.

The NCAA can fall mouth-forward upon an erect dick.

Committee chair in an interview with Katz has been blathering about "top 50" wins with numerous questions. [laughing]:flush:

So the Chairman's justification for giving A&M the 3 over Kentucky is that Kentucky has some losses over teams that "aren't even in the field."

A&M lost to Arizona State, Arkansas, South Carolina, Alabama, and LSU. So, 5 of their 8 losses came against teams not even in the field.

If you can't justify your actions, it's because you're incompetent.

Just about to post the same thing. Both UK and aTm had 5 bad losses. He's clearly an idiot.

Simmons isn't a loser. He is a certified ***** boy. Jones should be fired on the spot.

Yeah and against a heavily favored overall #1. 2011 was more of a screw job but this one was pretty close. It will make for good television in Rounds 2 and 3 but UK/IU/UNC didn't deserve this. 3 of your Power Conference champions in one half of a regional bracket is pure BS. I'm ticked off. Cal's ticked off. Players are ticked off. We are going to show those committee assclowns up.

SECT is going to be forced to end on Saturday.

-MSU vs UVA 3 years in a row. Mix it up fellas.

-1st year we're likely not traveling 1st or 2nd weekend. Be nice to experience the city during a run. Probably bail out of work at noon Thursday and Friday.

-bed time:zzz:

At least the bracket got leaked early and ruined that godawful two hour **** show of a cash grab on CBS. Absolutely deserved for ruining one of the best non-game sporting events of the year to sell a couple more Buicks.

Good to know the NCAA is taking this agregious act very seriously and will make sure justice is served for this travesty.

Maybe I'm the only one that feels way, but it's also absurd that IU gets the 7pm game as the 5 seed and we get the nightcap.

Just looking at the average rankings for the top-4 seeds in each Region based on RPI, Sagarin, and BPI. If I'm UNC fan, I'm pretty pissed off coming off a season in which you win the ACC regular season and tournament:

EAST: (UNC, Xavier, WVU, UK) ---- RPI (8.50), Sagarin (7.75), BPI (8.25)
MIDWEST: (UVA, MSU, Miami, Cal) ---- RPI (9.50), Sagarin (11.50), BPI (10.25)
SOUTH: (Kansas, Nova, Utah, Iowa St.) ---- RPI (8.75), Sagarin (13.25), BPI (13.25)
WEST: (Oregon, OU, TAMU, Duke) ---- RPI (11.25), Sagarin (13.75), BPI (13.75)

With the exception of the RPI, the East is ridiculously stacked at the top line. Good job Selection Committee....good effort! :flush:

Edit: F'ed up and switched MSU and Nova in the wrong Regions. When corrected, it actually widens the gap.......

Don't care. We are going to have to beat good teams at some point. Marcus make a run for the ages.

- Poythress is at 938 career points. Get him to 1000 and we will be looking good.

So a bunch of the analytics Twitter folks basically figured that the committee very, very heavily relied on the RPI, a ridiculously flawed and outdated tool, for seeding and inclusion.

Shocked!! ::wanking motion::

Maybe you mis-typed and the math is still right, but UVA is with MSU and KU is with Nova.

The CBS bracket is up and if you have participated before you should have received an email. I'll check it all tomorrow and post the info again.
