Love it. Think I might drive the 9 hours from Denver.
They put us on the late game for ratings. They know us nuts will stay up and watch it.
I hate the late game. Working 3rd shift makes it hard to watch the game and I can't afford to take off work. 
Screwed UK on Seed,Screwed UK on Location,might as well Screw UK on time too.of all the sites why the #$%^ is playing in freaking Des Moines is beyond me,Des Moines must be facing bankruptcy and needs Kentucky Fans $$$$
Well never mind - they've already jacked up ticket prices and scalpers have taken every package for Des Moines. I ain't paying $1850 for a weekend of basketball games. Would rather spend $100 and hang out with fellow fans at a bar. Idiot scalpers.
Duke and Cal both play the first games. Uk and Iowa St. play the second games. Iowa St plays an afternoon game so we are the only 4 seed playing the late night game.
That is usually when happy hour starts around Lexington. Late for us working folk but these type of games don't happen very often, especially on St Patrick's Day.
Dukes AD was on the committee. Not sure if that had anything to do with time slots but you can bet it helped out that seeding and favorable bracket.
I would wager big money that we will have the latest game on Saturday as well. UNC fans will have a nice jump on buying tickets in Philly. They do this to us every year.
Well I guess that makes the drive over on Thursday possible. If the KU fans don't buy up all the tickets. Have to admit it's a rather intriguing "pod" for me. KU, CU, UK, and IU. If only it could have been Denver. Then CBS would be doing the games. Instead I'm contemplating the trip with a CU fan/buddy.
