Probably get blasted but the Murray arrow is cringe-worthy bad. I just figured it's a weird Canadian thing but beyond that, you won't see the kids doing it on the playground unless they want to get beat up. And as long as he shoots daggers we're all going to pretend like we're fine with it but deep down, it's really, really ghey.

Florida was really bad, but we've lost to worse teams on the road so take the win and get out. Bonus for no further injuries, especially in that shitbox.

What's going to absolutely drive me insane is that in a close tournament game, other teams will just be able to get anything they want inside. Easy buckets, and-1's, getting to the FT line. ABH is right, while there are certainly some questionable calls on the road or missed calls- for the most part the fouls on our guys inside are legitimate. Not going to cherry pick individual calls, but judging on the whole- our guys absolutely can't play defense inside without fouling. A lot of them aren't even necessary. The patented Lee "stick my hip out into a guy then throw my hands straight up," Humphries getting beat on a screen and roll and hammering a guy, Alex looking confused and hammering a guy, Skal leaning directly into someone;s chest but putting his hands straight up and acting confused." It's not bad officiating on those calls- it's bad defense.

The 3 goggles was probably the only acceptable 3 point celebration. Subtle enough- but effective. The Re-load was a bit much, but that team was good enough that nobody cared. When Brad Calipari started doing it- society shouldve put it to rest. The arrow takes too long to execute. Especially when we're getting beat back down the court.

So assuming UVA beats UL, the cards finish 4th in the ACC, no? And they got rings? What am i missing here?

I don't understand the "Boo hoo our team is awful, we are lucky Florida is sooo bad" mentality after last night's game?

We played fairly decent in a tough road environment and came away with the W. Our bigs looked the best they have looked in a loooong time despite letting Django Unchained dunk the ball every 5 seconds.

If Murray gets an open look, you can go ahead and pull an arrow out of the quiver. BTW, if someone from another team was doing that I would hate him beyond words.

We are some fouling SOBs, but if you don't think Poythress and Lee get the unfriendliest whistle in history you are either blind or hate the blacks.

Good win. I like my team.

I mean, we're talking about AssistbyRedass here.

Lewis: You ever going to wear this thing?
Lee: Hell no, how long do you think we have to wait before we put these things up for sale.
Lewis: I don't know, these people are weirdos.

It's nice they gave them a physical reminder of their tourney banned senior seasons. They won't wear it, but if they did, I lol just thinking about how many times people will ask them what the championship ring is from, and they'll have to explain time and time again that it's not actually for a championship, it was a sympathy ring when they were banned from the tournament because of ***** violations.

Wednesday Shorts:

- I liked the confidence, energy and rebounding from Big Skal. Unlike Redass, I still think he can give us something. Do you start him again Saturday? He responded last night.

- Curious to see what we look like when we're healthy...considering it's been 9 games since we've had all of our starters.

- Indiana is fun to watch and they could definitely make a run. I like us better but we're cut from the same cloth this year.

- I think we end up 3-seed, but I'm curious if we win out, can we grab a 2. Doubtful and those losses to Tennessee and Auburn are killers.

- How good is Murray? It's ridiculous. Let's just ask it...is he better than Booker? 9 straight with 20 or more. I think every shot is going in and he gets it up likethat.

- Bricksoe? I think you mean...Twicksoe. :cool::100points::raised_hands::fire:

- Our D is great at not allowing assists, which usually means you're pretty darn good but our fouling and glass work kill our adjD.

Re: 2 seed.

If we win out we are almost guaranteed to have a top 10 RPI and top 10 Kenpom. You could almost certainly say we will have at least two more wins against RPI top 50 teams giving us 10 total.

That is def the resume of a 2 seed.

-.

The people that think Skal has turned a corner and will continue to give you the production he gave last night are the same people that think Briscoe will now shoot like Steph Curry from the 3 and the line for the rest of the year because of 1 game. They are also the same people that post about the refs intentionally trying to screw us out of wins. And all of those people used to post on Rafters but they post here now, too.

Put a smile on, buddy. It's March and the Cats are playing good ball. [cheers]

You going to Bockfest at all?

I'm not sure I'm willing to say Murray is better than a sophomore Booker, but I can't imagine Booker would be having a more productive season than 23 is giving us. It's unreal.

Sure would be nice to have both, though.

Wondering who will be the better pro. Obviously, Booker is balling right now.

I ***** at bad calls too, but Christ. Every bad play, run, or game is refs fault. THESE REFS ARE SCREWING US!!!

This isn't a more rafter-esque (or L1C4) stance than that one.

I'd say it's much more likely that our team is at fault overall, 30 or so games of it would seem to indicate a pattern to me, but dunno.

Lolz, HOW long before one of those rings is in Katina Powell's ******!

Happy with last night's win, but still think skals a total bust.
The one thing driving me nuts is our absolutely atrocious rebounding. We are horrible at rebounding.

On the wall outside the Louisville basketball locker room at the Yum Center, there is a big, framed picture from the happiest of times.

It’s from 2013, when the Cardinals won the national championship and visited the White House. Standing front and center is President Barack Obama, holding a Louisville jersey. Directly to his left is a smiling coach Rick Pitino. And directly to Pitino’s left is a face that has been covered with black athletic tape.

That would be Andre McGee.

Again, there is certainly zero doubt UK is hacking bunch , but shooting zero free throws in a half with an attacking three guard lineup is ridiculous.

We simply do not get a favorable whistle on the offensive end. Defensively there is nothing to complain about. We can't guard so we foul.

[laughing] My bad for noticing the 12-3 foul differential last night. Refs noticed it, too, as they immediately called Florida for four BS ticky-tack fouls to start the 2nd half.

Also, apologies for not respecting that whistle at Kansas that gave them 24 more FTs in a close game AND/OR for hating on that technical on Humphries in College Station.

UK has gotten a historically ****** whistle this year. I promise you I don't GAF if you like my takes on it or not.

Who are our "attacking" 3 guards?? Ulis either shoots a 3 or gets in the lane and pulls up for an 8 foot floater, rarely taking the ball to the hole. If he does, he flicks up a fall away type layup that goes away from contact because he has to because hims just a whittle guy.

Murray either shoots a 3 or a pullup J. Rarely goes to the rack. Very rarely.

Briscoe is told by his coach to avoid contact and jacks up jump shots all the time. I mean, Briscoe drives, then realizes he may get fouled and immediately dribbles back out to the perimeter.

I suppose our awesome post players who are constantly fed the ball should draw more fouls.

I love watching this team play, one of my favorites under cal. But its soft offensively. Its a jump shooting team. We dont have a bulldog guard like Andrew or John Wall getting to the hole and initiating contact. And we dont have KAT or Julius Randle or AD on the block drawing fouls.

I accept that we are fouling mofos for the most part. Our bigs are weak and get pushed out of position or miss rebounds and then have to foul to make up for their mistakes. But you are telling me Florida played the entire first half only fouling 3 times? Big ole false there.
