My cousin's wedding is in Cincunnatah on Sat. Lass and I are staying at the Marriot Springhill Suites on Eden Park Drive near Mount Adams.
GYERO Cincy folks... What's a good place in that area or close by to watch the Cats?
( Also, keep this in GYERO but thinking about hitting up Montgomery Inn for romantic V Day brunch on Sunday. She'll love it. Get out the bib, honey.. Full rack is coming out hot!)
I remember how much I feared/loathed any of the other good teams during that 96 run - and there were a shitload of them. I downplayed/hooted at them every chance I could.
- Cincy - Danny Fatson blows; bunch of thugs
- Kansas - Pussies; Raef LaFrentz sucks
- UMass - Not deep enough; BAH GAWD PAYBACK'S COMIN
- G'town - Terrible without Iverson; piss on Victor Page
- UConn - Ray Allen and a buncha turds
- Wake - Tim Duncan is a little puss boi; just triple team him and they suck (true)
Holy lord, was that season loaded with talent.
Look I love goetta, I even like Skyline. But let's be honest, Montgomery Inn ribs are really nothing special.
Sorry if that offends your tender Ohio identity.
The Waterfront saw some stuff go down for sure. Probably had as much to do with the Bengals lost decade of the 90s as anything else.I witnessed Brannen literally rip the top off of a girl going into the Waterfront on a Thursday College Night. She was crying & he was dogcussing her. Rueben Patterson drug him up the boat ramp and away from the scene.
I like Montgomery Inn ribs. And it has nothing at all to do with where the restaurant is located.

You also love Frisch's, which is terrible.

The Golden Age in Cincy/NKY was when I was in my early 20's…
