SEC basketball sucks

This is why SEC basketball is terrible. No one gets any calls at Rupp and we get no calls on the road. Just call the game right and fair no matter the location.

It's like that everywhere when there is a crowd that influence the refs. The closer they got the louder the crowd became and the more bias the officiating becomes. It's like they want to help the home team get over the hump. I seen tons of make up calls attempted tonight but the problem was UT was in the bonus and we weren't. We suck, doesn't matter anyway.

True. We have lots of issues. But those get magnified or covered up with the unbalanced officiating in the SEC.

That's been what has been so good 90% of the time during the Cal era. The teams have been able to overcome the pitiful SEC officiating....the worse the power conferences. I personally try but most of the time cannot watch SEC basketball if neither of the teams playing are UK. The teams are not the same teams that play UK....Exhibit A...tonight Tennessee. Are you kidding. First game the entire season where most of the seats were used. First time all year they had over 10,000. I bet it was the first time all year they had the upstairs open to sit in. I hate SEC basketball. The other schools in the league with the exception of Vanderbilt year in and year out, focus their entire season on their game with us and us only almost without exception. How many times on a neutral court do think Auburn or Tennessee could come even close to beating Kentucky? Exactly. The SEC is a great conference. It is a national contender in every sport men's and women's except for men's basketball. The SEC DOES NOTHING for UK basketball. It is not as apparent when we are having a great year. But in a year like this when we struggle, you are subjected to see just how awful the league in every aspect is. The best part of the basketball season is the pre-conference season and the NCAA tournament. The 18 SEC games are painful...win or lose.

This times 1000000. Go and look and the last however many sec games and the home team wins at an absurd clip. Most bizarre stat in sports. I've observerd this for the last several years and it goes for all teams playing on the road in the sec. Makes our conference horrible. Call it fair and may the best team that day win.
