Other than us, their OOC schedule was embarrassing for a major D-1 program. Pitino has zero shame.
Season is a month old and they have played one game and lost. Might cone back to bite them in the arse once conference play begins. Still a little heads up with us before then too. I'd be embarrassed with that schedule and probably not show up to games either. Actually would go to games there anyway with that annoying *** THreeeeeeeeeeee PA guy....put a muzzle on his snout..
That's more of a mandatory game, part of the ACC-Big 10 challenge. Not something Pitino himself scheduled.
When the season is over their SOS will be very comparable to ours due to the ACC being better than the SEC
Louisville is a big city, lots to do. Kind of like LA where UCLA's attendance is low. There's just so many options!

A friend of mine who is a UofL fan tried to argue with me the other day that UofL has a tougher OOC schedule than UK.
I didn't waste much time arguing with him because it's pointless trying to argue with a UofL fan.
He also believes that his team is a final 4 contender.
There are a good portion of UofL fans that are completely insulated from anything else going on in college sports besides their team.
They listen to the local media and believe that they have top 10 talent.

I agree, playing the OOC UofL has played this year will not help this team come conference play. Long gone is the Denny Crum philosophy of will play anybody any time any where. Now the new philosophy is how bad are you yep we will play you.
The ACC is not that tough a conference, you have a strong top end but it gets weak really quick. The SEC is on the rise so there is not going to be a big gap there. To me the point is Rich has played so many really bad teams how is the team going to react when they actually have to play some D1 teams back to back in conference play.

Believe it or not, there is more to life than college sports and believe it or not, being a good person isn't tied to one's sports affiliation.

Ok the time that pic was posted was 5:49pm and the game didn't tipoff till 7pm. So it wasn't 5 mins to tip like the captions say it was over and hour before tipoff.

You know at least one Looserville fan had to come to our board and try to justify their existence. UofLsucksville will never be anything more then a middle of the pact ACC team if that.
Also, two good opponents in a 13 game OOC schedule is a joke, especially when neither of those games were games you had a real say in scheduling.
I think you only have to distribute the tickets and not actually 'sell' them.
I can see plenty of UL ticket giveaways for every fruitcake purchased.
BTW, in their highlight package, the ESPN chick said that UL was the only team in the Top 5 offensive and defensive efficiency, so I go to check out Kenpom, and that's not even remotely the case. They are 7th in def. eff., but 24th in off. eff.
Maybe she meant BPI, which is ESPN's baby, but do they have rankings for those categories? I can't take that one seriously though as they have UL at 5th, ahead of Duke, UNCheat, and well ahead of UK and Kansas.

It's to early for the numbers game especially when you have not played anybody. Any team would beat down the teams they have played.
