Johnny Jones is good for a couple losses easy in a year.... both of these teams are very average and they are already standing and watching Simmons work.... so their offense is let Simmons bring it down and he either dishes for someone to shoot a 3 or he drives the lane. Probably took Jones a good couple months to come up with that one.

LSU just cannot stop penetration in order to catch Marquette. We should handle them comfortably unless they are significantly better defensively when at full strength. Our guards will run wild on them.

Simmons just choked a dunk but grabs a couple rebounds and gets to the line. Haven't seen him miss a free throw yet.

He missed one a few minutes ago I'm pretty sure. Was Simmons trash talking the coach?

Simmons passes up 2 shots. No way he should do that. He has to have ball in his hands taking last shot.

Rupp always said 1 guy can't beat you. He let the Pistol run wild, but Pete never beat Rupp. LSU just lost to a really bad marquette team.

Simmons finishes with 21 pts, 20 rebounds, 7 assists. He could easily have had a triple double if his teammates didn't blow so many perfect assists he set them up with.

No offense but if you were watching the game you'd know what we are talking about. This Simmons kid is just a fabulous player in every facet of the game. He does everything... great. He's dropping some of the sweetest dimes you've ever seen but his boneheaded teammates are blowing half of them.

I thought it was absurd to compare anyone to LeBron, but that is who he is. That's really the only comparison. Not as strong as he's younger but he's also a little smoother. Literally a combination of Magic and Bron. That sounds stupid but yet there it is.

He's a rich man's Lamar Odom. Lebron is 2 levels higher as an athlete, but that's no insult to Simmons.

Simmons gave it up twice to open teammates on that last possession. Can't do that. He has to want to be the man right there and force the issue.

And honestly, they were both really good passes if it wasn't an end game situation.

Yeah, he was cut off as they were not going to let him get to the rim and walled him off thus opening up teammates, but Simmons has got to be the guy to win or lose that game.

Thank goodness Simmons chose LSU. Put him on any team in the top 15 and they are the runaway favorite for the title. I thought the LeBron comparisons were exaggerated but he is LeBron on the college level. Could you imagine this kid coached by Cal, K or Izzo or playing with two or three high caliber players? Goodnight.
