Bolden is really interested in Duke.

I've come across both Briscoe and Murray on first-round projected draft boards. The only Kansas guard I've spotted is Svi. Mason isn't jumping anywhere but the D-League. Haven't heard a peep about Greene. I doubt a guy who averaged less than 6 a game is jumping anywhere.

Draft boards change drastically once incoming freshmen actually play a game of college basketball. The basis for your argument is immensely flawed. That said, we are going to have to agree to disagree, as you aren't likely to change your opinion and neither am I.

That's a good point. It is also almost verbatim what Fox has said in a past interview. Paraphrasing, but basically that he is the type of point guard which Kansas has lacked in years.

Thing is, Coach K has no problem recruiting over guys.

Obi and Jeter will rot on the pine while Giles and Bolden play.

Duke probably doesn't get both Bolden and Gabriel, but they probably get one of them.

If Ingram is back, then I don't see why Gabriel would want to go to Duke and back up Ingram and Tatum (two similar players- long, tall guys who want to play on the wing).

I would rather see Gabriel and Bolden both at UK, but I would take a split of Gabriel to UK and Bolden to KU if it means Duke doesn't get both.

UK still has Killeya-Jones and Ayton (if he reclassifies) as possibilities at the 5.

Fox is a bigger, quicker much better shooting version of Kenny Anderson. (the Georgia Tech Anderson not the Bengals version). He is the closest thing to John Wall since the original. That UT (Shaka Smart) couldn't keep him in TX says he's coming to the bluegrass. Really great news.

I take Fox.

Smith is the biggest name, because he leaped (almost literally) onto the scene the earliest. There's no question he has huge potential, and I'd take him or Fox in a second. However, Fox is nearly as good an athlete (not quite as good a leaper, but might actually be quicker with the ball), doesn't have a torn ACL, and has played well on every big stage he's been on. He also seems to be improving.

Simmons, to me, is a pretty distant 3rd. Great athlete, excellent ballhandler for a 6'5"-6'6" guy, but not a shooter, and maybe not a real PG. No idea how recruiting services still have him rated ahead of Fox. I can see Smith over Fox, because that's close, but I can't see Simmons over Fox at all.

All 3 guys are major prospects, but Fox and Smith seem a lot more polished than Simmons.

Draft boards change. Mostly for incoming freshmen, not guys that have been in college for a few seasons now. Like I said, Greene and Mason may go pro, but it will be in something other than sports. Neither will have NBA careers.

The only player that will play the 5 that you mentioned is Jeter. The others will see little to no time over Bolden at center.

Think his visit is either canceled or UK will tell him he can't commit as they have other guards ahead of him.

His visit was not cancelled. Just tweeted he is looking forward to his UK official.

Yeah...he's Anderson but even better. I believe Anderson averaged 26p & 8a at Tech so Fox should throw up 30&10 no problem.

I would say Fox is the one I prefer of the three as well. Thing is, Simmons is an excellent slasher and an elite athlete. He just has no shot and is not a great distributor either. At 6'5" I wonder if Cal could sell him on playing off ball as a wing. With Fox and Monk spreading the floor I could see Simmons as a nasty weapon. But not if he's intent on playing the point.

Smith was the best of the three before he got hurt. But regardless of how far ACL surgery has come, it still makes him a question mark, particularly in college because he's only going to be there one year, and it normally takes a couple years to return both physically and mentally.

Before injury, it was Smith, Fox, Simmons. Now I'd say Fox, Simmons, Smith.
