Reminds me of a prominent politician in the 2020 “Summer of Love”. Who was that again?

this is actually what they said. You can’t have it both ways man. You can’t claim that trump has no responsibility for the violence at the capitol and then say that Patagonia wants to bail out people for looting. Be better.

Patagonia said that all the company’s full and part-time employees would receive training "and bail for those who peacefully protest for reproductive justice" and that employees would receive time off "to vote."

Still can’t wrap my head around some of these states that are making no exception for rape or incest.

This means a father could rape his 13 year old daughter, and she would be forced to carry her sibling to term.

You never fail to deliver. Please read what you just typed. 😂

That melatonin must’ve had a harsh side effect last night, as you came unglued. Funny how now you’re getting called out, you run for the hills.

Man, you seriously need to get a life. I stopped responding to you days ago and your obsession with me has only gotten creepier.

Nobody is "running for the hills". It is called having a life. The majority of my posts yesterday came during a two hour window I had while sitting through a five year old's birthday party. The rest of my day was spent playing with my kids and then attending a pool party at a friend's house. That friend, by the way, was a huge Trump supporter (prior to Jan 6th). We are still friends despite seeing things very differently.

My best advice to you, as this will be my final response to you... get a life. Spending so much of your weekend on a message board - and calling other people out for not doing the same - is not healthy.

You really are as dumb as I thought, I tried giving you benefit of the doubt but it’s just not possible.

Time after time I have explained on here along with others that zero violence is acceptable, whatever party whatever the reason. And thankfully the man that hit Ms. Rourke has been arrested and thrown in jail.

if you think the Missouri ad is actually saying he wants to kill someone, good grief. Anyone with any sense of humor and maturity isn’t interpreting that as any sort of threat. It’s obviously a metaphor to get RINO’s out of the government.

The man in the truck should absolutely be arrested and charged, just as was the radical left, convicted felon, BLM activist man that rammed his Ford SUV into a crowd of innocent Christmas paraders killing 5. I think we would both agree on this.

Again, NONE of our elected officials or SCOTUS justices should be threatened whatsoever. The person that sent that threat should absolutely be held accountable by the law. Note though that no violence has occurred towards him, yet there was an actual attempt to assassinate Kavanaugh just a few weeks ago, but I guess that doesn’t matter.

that so called tweet screenshot is highly suspicious… no time or date? Looks very photoshopped. I could only find two “sources” reporting on that, both being extremely far left. If that’s authentic, then there is absolutely zero excuse for that type of rhetoric.

but I can assure you thus far, this Summer has been FAR more peaceful than 2020. We may never see (and I hope this remains true) another season of violence like that ever again

I agree, there should be exceptions for certain instances that may even go beyond those two instances (mother death likely during birthas another example)

Listen you little punk, I didn't call you a name but if you want to turn up the heat, I can certainly play that game as well. Living in small town SC your whole life gives you a very narrow view of the world, but don't think you get to come on here and post your angry, right wing rhetoric and not get some pushback. This is a message board and I will respond in whatever manner I choose . You and your dark views do not get the last word here. Capiche?

It's ridiculous to try and provide cover for every instance of your party's increasingly violent rhetoric, whether you believe it "actually" is meant to do real harm or not. The imagery, the language and the overall tone of what's coming from your side contributes to an openly hostile climate that will eventually boil over. We saw a perfect example of that about a year and a half ago. An event that you constantly try to sugarcoat while ignoring the serious threat it forbodes. Have you always ignored and dismissed criminality or just since Trump made it fashionable?

I’m just commenting on the truck video … if you decide to protest in the middle of oncoming traffic, you knowingly put yourself in danger and except all risks associated with protesting in traffic as far as I’m concerned.
That you Ron? Maybe so but if you intentionally run into a group of protestors and don't stop, that's a crime. That's the problem.

The fringes of both parties are increasingly vocal and with that we see a lot of violent speech. It's coming from both sides. We need to reject all of it.

It's like I've told you in the past. Once a person comes to the point they are convinced an unborn child is a human life, you can't agree with abortion under any circumstances save for the life of the mother or an already lifeless baby in the womb.

I don't want to monitor what people do. In order to make your points, so often you will take things to the extreme to try and show how nefarious things can be. Mind you, as people who enjoy and care about politics, we could both play that game to ridiculous extremes. I am far more interested in the middle 60-70% in this country. The extreme 10-20% on each side should not be the focus of attacks from either side. Those folks have always existed and will always exist. There's a very reasonable middle in this country and we need to try and find ways to work together knowing we're never going to agree on everything. Some give and take is required to do anything.

I'm sure we are both pompous asses to one another. We've had some very heated disagreements and while I can't speak for you, I can say I'm not entirely proud of the way I conduct myself at times. Perhaps we could both tone it down a bit and discuss things in more substantive ways when occasion permits. But you also must recognize you come with both barrels most of the time and you are very dismissive of any view that isn't your own. I realize I can be the same way and I'll commit myself to working on that when it comes to us disagreeing. It would be nice to lower the temperature in this area. I apologize for the nasty things I have said to you. I will refrain from such things in the future. Whether you choose to do the same is up to you but I hope you will.

Have a great day!

Willence

I like Allan not without the sins of incivility and the trying to see the other side and always keep an open mind

There are boundaries that cannot be crossed with me however I will listen and try to create a compromise if possible

The divisiveness of our country comes from crazy power hungry people who hate and fear monger to people and particularly race baiters and mongers who blame everyone not black for being
White supremacy or Gold Members of the Order of the Klu Klux Klan

There is a vast group who are born equal but many factors change the length of the journey but it has nothing to do with race or slavery over 150 years ago. But that discussion takes a deep six immediately as the facts argument is not acceptable and then it turns into mob voices and riots and violence to intimidate people into agreement

The sad part of that is that long term there will be consequences

So congratulations on your apology

You are invited to attend with me the Incivilities Anonymous Therapy Group

I don’t understand the Ron comment???

maybe so …. Protestors do NOT have the right to block traffic. What I see is a truck easing through a intersection, surrounded by protestors who are throwing themselves in front of the vehicle like lemmings, while other protestors are violently attacking the car, threatening the driver.

with my kids in the car? I would do the same

I want to go on record that I support NY 100%.
Since this board is majority right wing mob, it can take balls to post here knowing that a pack of hyenas will come after you if you post a differing view. You tend to ignore all the hatred and crazy coming from your side because you agree with them, but he's just giving the board a taste of it's own medicine. You feel comfortable attacking him because you know your side has the numbers here but he's no worse than many of the posters you agree with. He's a badly needed voice here and it would be boring without him.

I can assure you my comfort comes from within, not from a crowd behind me.

I attack him because he’s a loudmouth arrogant, pompous bully, who thinks he’s above everyone, and I have zero issue putting such in its place. The ironic part, is he hates a richer version of exactly who he mimics. Im certain you’ve seen the way he’s acted, and especially as of late. Calling people fat?.. insinuating people are welfare trash?… Give me a break. As I’ve said plenty of times here, if you can dish it, you best be able to take it… and if you’re going to attempt the bully role, let’s see how you react to being punched.

That’s life.

Lastly, please stop pretending you’re alone in your politics here. There’s plenty of lib in TI.

I think you completely misunderstand that he knows what he's saying and he does it intentionally to pull your strings. A lot of what he says shouldn't be taken seriously and is intended to be tongue in cheek. But on the other hand, he's making it clear that he won't be bullied and he will fight fire with fire. Maybe a little harsh at times but I understand how maddening it is to have to engage with people who believe in conspiracies and worship liars. It makes you salty.

Also, this aint real life.

Ah … ok (shrug) … good for DeSantis. Just another reason for me to like him.

Protestors do not have the right to assemble in the middle of the road, attack cars, and threaten drivers because they are having an emotional response to something they dont agree with.
It appears to be debatable that they are attacking him but how frightening could some girls with placards really be?

"An unidentified male motorist in Cedar Rapids, Iowa intentionally rammed into several women on Friday night as abortion rights defenders peacefully protested the right-wing U.S. Supreme Court's overturning of Roe v. Wade.

"It makes me feel like the pro-life movement is a complete lie if, in order to be against people who are protesting for abortion rights, you try to murder them in my street."

The driver of a Ford truck maneuvered around multiple cars at a red light and drove through the tail end of a group of demonstrators who were crossing a street downtown, running over one woman's ankle and sending her to the hospital, witnesses told HuffPost.

"He tried to murder them," said Lyz Lenz, a local journalist and witness to the attack. "These women see him coming and a bunch of people put their hands out to stop him. And he just keeps going."

Video footage recorded by Linn County Supervisor Stacey Walker shows several women standing in front of the truck with outstretched arms, trying to persuade the driver to stop. But the motorist keeps plowing forward, knocking down and injuring several of them."

What you posted was dumb… everything you referred to, both sides have done, I don’t condone any of it.

You just show the far right part of violence, when there are several examples of violence from the democrats too. It happens on both sides, and it should be condemned on BOTH sides, that’s my point. You can’t post those tweets and not expect someone to call out the fact that your own party does the same things.

It's ridiculous and dumb that your defense to every bit of wrongdoing on your side is to throw up BLM protests that got out of hand. That's not only old news but please take note that NO ONE here has supported them, tried to sugarcoat what they did and we certainly don't EVER DEFEND THEM. You should take some notes from that.

Absolutely insane.

I’m with you guys here. Complete abortion ban is stupid. It’s also horrible politically.

Pubs need to hope state legislatures or even congress pass something reasonable or it will absolutely hurt the GOP in the midterms.

Safe, legal, rare. Cover rape, incest, health. Cap voluntary abortions at 15 weeks or some other similar reasonable date. That’s what the vast majority of Americans want.

Had a house at Lake Lure for many years

That water was always killer cold

Had a boat but it never really was to my tastes

Traded it in for a house dock and boat on Lake Murray which to me is about the best in SC for recreation

Santee takes it on fishing

But man Lake Lure back in the day was a dump to me

But it was quiet LOL

I always find it hilarious that when I worked and traveled Conus, Oconus and Globally the management always encouraged me not to speak unless spoken to

They would ask I just provide handouts and then a very fluent local person would explain the project

it was funny as I was an expert and had this Gechee and Gullah accent

People always would think I wss the hick hearing me talk , but when it came to the technology and making things work people got out the way

My Japanese friends called me Kojak just to think back on fun memories

So this dumb Southern boy just continues to roll

Just to weigh in here without caring to bicker

The SCOTUS was 100 per cent correct

Now allow each state to write their own laws

if people support it then they will get what they want

i want a reasonable well thought out policy

And this continued threats of violence against Trump , Trump supporters and conservatives is unacceptable

Starting with Obama who under minded Police in his term with Gates at Harvard and continuing with fake Russian collision, the Chinese connection and a host of other people who scream at people and encourage violence against SCOTUS when the laws clearly do not allow it AG Merrick Garland do do your job and quit threatening parents and concentrate on terrorists , criminals , cartels and diseases coming across the border

We had an awesome time. Had a beautiful Airbnb for eight people overlooking the lake and the cliffs. Went boating, a couple wineries, went to the Brewery and had a few cold ones with our feet in the water. It was pretty chill but that was perfectly fine. ;)

this is actually what they said.

You don't get arrested for peaceful protesting.........be less stupid

I think you completely misunderstand that he knows what he's saying and he does it intentionally to pull your strings. A lot of what he says shouldn't be taken seriously and is intended to be tongue in cheek. But on the other hand, he's making it clear that he won't be bullied and he will fight fire with fire. Maybe a little harsh at times but I understand how maddening it is to have to engage with people who believe in conspiracies and worship liars. It makes you salty.

Also, this aint real life.

I was wondering why my nose hurt so badly this morning. Then I come on here and realize that I got "put in my place" with a "virtual punch to the nose" from an anonymous internet tough guy.

His obsession with me has gone from tagging and quoting me 20 times a day to virtually beating me up.

It would be funny if it wasn't so ******* sad.
