Anyone that’s had it what were y’all’s symptoms and how long did they last. Thanks in advance. I have bad headache, lower back pain, chills, running a 100 temp and fatigue also stopped up

I got it right before Christmas. Lost my voice, had a bad head cold, and was very fatigued for 48 hours. Day 3 I woke up with a ton more energy but took me a good 5 days to get my voice back.
Not fun but the worst part to me was the quarantine during Christmas.

Had it last week. Two vaccines. Same symptoms as you. Fever was only a day-ish. Fatigue lasted 3d or so. Mild cold symptoms still. All in all, not too bad. Would rather have had that than GI bug.

Pretty sure I had it before Christmas. Those were my symptoms to a T.

Parents are in their mid 70’s and had it right after Christmas. Dad was back power waking (yes, and he will kick most runners asses) on the 3rd day. Mom took 4 days to be back. Both said fatigue was the worse part.
I don't know what variant I had and, according to my friend who is the head nurse at the VA hospital, no one else does either...takes them 3+ months to get variant results after sending off data.
Day 1-3 was 102 degree temps, body aches, chills, headache and searing pain in my chest as I coughed up the nastiest stuff I've ever seen in my life. Lethargy. Vitamins C, D, Zinc, Mucinex, Tylenol Advil.
Days 4-9 - fever was gone. Thought my head was going to explode. Serious pressure in nose/sinuses. Lethargy. Searing pain in chest was gone by day 6. Productive cough continued. Vitamins C, D, Mucinex, Tylenol Advil
Got smart and called Doc on Day 9 and was prescribed steroid Medrol. Within 12 minutes of first dose the pressure in my head lessened and I could breathe through my nose. Lethargy.
Days 10-14 - could take a nap anytime, anywhere. productive cough.
Days 15-16 - continue to cough up stuff. a lot of stuff. Can take a nap anytime, anywhere.
I rarely get sick so I don't have much to compare this to...but it was awful. The worst part was that every day was the same (especially days 4-9) with zero improvement. somehwere around days 3-5 was intermittent Diarrhea.
Good luck. Get the steroid if nasty cough/lower respiratory.
49 years of age. 75" 180 lbs. No underlying issues.

Family member got the virus recently. Started with lower back pain and not feeling well. Was fatigued for about a week with headaches throughout the week. Person was vaxed but hadnt got a booster.
Hope you come out ok. Unvaxxed are 17 times more likely to be hospitalized. Right now I'm in the hospital for another reason and the hospital staff is stressed.
Son and I both had the ‘cron. Fever, chills, body aches. Lasted only 24 hours.
For us, much weaker than the common cold or certainly the flu. Really a non-event outside of 1 day.
My exact symptoms but add in a minor sore throat. I’m unvaccinated so not sure how that compares. I started feeling not myself on Monday of this week and I’m mostly better now. I’m just left with head congestion.
Would guess you had one of the earlier strains and not omicron. They seem like they are/were worse. I had Covid. a year ago and I was sick bad for 8 weeks. Haven’t heard about anyone recently with symptoms more than a few days.
A lot also depends on your age and general health.
If vaccinated and a regular person your chances of getting very sick are nearly non existent.
Unvaccinated, you are rolling the dice. Could be nothing. Could be super serious.
The vaccine works at keeping people out of the hospital and from dying. The stats are more than clear on that point now.
Unfortunately I know several kids who have lost a parent - who was otherwise fine - who refused to get vaccinated. Sad.

Sounds like delta, would have been way better off getting omicron.
One night with cold chills, no fever, just a general ugh feeling for a day. Some congestion. That was it.
Moderna Vax back in April, but no boosters
Wife, same, but loss of voice & sore throat and fatigue, lasted about a week for her.
Phizer vax, no boosters. (fwiw, illness always hits her harder than me)
I tested positive yesterday. Today is day 3-4 of symptoms.

Basically exact same as you have. Additionally, Sore throat and congestion started this morning. Low back pain and body aches are by far the worst part of this.
It's being selfish...pure and simple....at this stage of the pandemic. JMO

I’ve got it as well. Started with lower back pain on Thursday which is normally my signal of fever. Headache all day that wouldn’t stop. Yesterday started sore throat and then high fever. 101-102. This morning woke up with 100 fever and feel like I ran a marathon.
I’ve had upper respiratory infection for last 7 weeks…was on 3 rounds of antibiotics and this week was the first week I felt better.

I’m 95% recovered from it starting last Saturday. Started with mild draining and mild cough as a result of the draining. Then lethargy, more draining and cough days 2-3. Then an incredible burst of energy day 4. Then it pretty much morphed into a mild head cold. Then suddenly yesterday it all just sorta disappeared.
I had no fever and strangely couldn’t sleep. Outside of not sleeping well and the cough, it was fine.
I’m two shot vaccinated. My 76, not in shape unvaccinated father is also recovering with probably even less symptoms. My wife, who’s in healthcare, in perfect shape and 3 shots in had a strong fever for 36 hours.
Everyone around me in Charlotte seems to have it now or is recovered. Regardless of vax status, age, health status, etc the stories are all the same. I wouldn’t worry too much. This is the variant to get if you haven’t had covid as of yet.
No expert here. But the omicron is supposedly more of an upper respiratory version of the virus than the previous two strains. Hence the sore throat, cold symptoms and such. Also people don’t seem to be losing their taste and smell as much with omicron.
I had the original version of the virus in Jan. 2021. My joints aches so bad I felt like I had been hit by a dump truck for 3-4 days. The joints in my fingers even hurt. Food tasted like metal. Fever. No other symptoms.

Got it on the 29th. I’m vaxxed 3 times. Was sitting by someone who didn’t know they had it at a function. Only mild symptoms for me. Like a cold. Congestion and a cough for about 2 days. Took theraflu and sinus medicines. Still have some congestion on day 10.
get better OP, luckily for you, you now have natural immunity.
