It's common to live with your parents until you get married in Spain, not so much strictly because of a lack of opportunities. It's just a different culture

Lol at you telling me I have a lot of growing up to do. That's rich
Wrong. They have no choice. Unemployment is high and so are taxes. It is part of their culture because they have no choice. I travel to Spain and Italy a few times a year. Nice to visit but not a great place to live.

You need to quit listening to Bugs Bunny and working at Chikfila, snowflake. This is the best country in the world and Trump is making it greater every day.

I think you misunderstood what I meant by my response of glass half full. You told me that 40% of people my age are unemployed, and I responded with, well, that means that 60% are employed, and that's where I would probably be. You simply responded that 60% is really bad, which I didn't disagree with. I simply said I'm a glass half full person, meaning I'd like to think I'd be able to find work over there. If not, I'd probably come back. Either way, IMO, the Spanish lifestyle is much better than that of the U.S., and that's the biggest factor that makes me "fantasize" about living over there.
Cool. Perfectly normal logic and response there.

Telling me to join the Klan though...yeah I'll pass.

Now I know I'm being trolled.

Helpful hint, if you want to try to make me look like an idiot, it's best to not embarrass yourself in the process

You're trying too hard ITT. Regroup
Not trying to do anything. This board just can't handle it when their own opinions and mannerisms are returned in their direction. It's a lot of dish it but can't take it on here. I simply put things in perspective, but the majority of this board is too dense to understand that and gets all upset in the process, resorting to the same jokes and the same simple vocabulary. In a way, it's depressing. On the other hand, it's like watching train wreck, I just keep coming back for more

pack your **** and go.
Calm down man. It's gonna be ok.

If my career guided me to living in Europe I'd do it no questions asked. Quite literally the only two things I missed while in Spain were friends, food, and A/C. Everything else is equal or better IMO. Lifestyle is significantly better that's for sure

We have different sample sizes my friend.

I have a lot of international exposure based on relatives, friends, and career. They may want change in some countries, but they are not asking for US like change based on anything that Trump has done.

Not sure how your sample size is any bigger then mine......I live in Germany and travel throughout Europe for work. I think most see the US Election as a vote for change and not necessarily for Trump. Not many Europeans are comfortable with their immigration policies!

Don't listen to him. It's fake news. I've traveled around the world more than anyone on this board and people want change. I was in London during the Brexit vote. Listening to the fake news, you would think it would never happen. But I talked to THE PEOPLE and I knew Brexit would happen. Just like I knew Trump would be our 45th president. Trump is making the world great again!

Lived in Germany 6 years and am half Danish, so have that covered. Speaking a lot broader than just Western Europe, even though I would say with a high level of confidence that the majority there is not supportive of our current leadership.

you obviously didn't read my initial post. I never said Europeans are fans of Trump.....quite the opposite. I said they equate our election as people voting for change and now they want to see the same thing happen on their country.

Who cares? Most are busy getting Islam bombed or trying to keep their failed socialism in check.

Markets are up, spending has been cut a bit, Gorsuch on the SC. We're also not seriously contemplating crazy entitlement expansion like free college. Need to fix healthcare and cut taxes, then it will be a good first year for ole Don.

Markets are going to tank soon unfortunately. Will you still be a Trump cheerleader then? Or will you blame it on Obama? Winter is coming. And I am not talking about HBO.

First, @johnhugh is correct, I lived in Spain and Latin America and it is a cultural thing for them to live with their parents until married. It's even a thing with a lot of Catholics in the US.

Second, there is no way in hell your fool *** visits Spain and Italy a few times a year.

Dude, you are wrong. They are living with parents even after getting married. Just got back from Italy a couple of weeks ago. Not many jobs. Housing is extremely expensive and taxes are ridiculous. FORTY percent of adults up to 34 yrs old in Spain and Italy live at home. It has gone up 44% since 2011 so NO, it is not just cultural. They can't afford their own homes.

Some of you really have no clue. You need to get out of your bubble and stop reading fake news.

My host family in Spain, the daughter has her own apartment and still lives with her mom. She's worked a good job ever since she graduated high school. Figured I would retort your foolish opinion with anectdotal evidence

I'm not a Trump cheerleader. The exchange between @Howard's Jock and @clemsonpaw00 was based on Trump being better than the alternative democrat.

Had Hillary won, the markets would not be as high, spending would be higher, a liberal justice would still be held up in the senate, we would be talking about how to add new unsustainable entitlements like free college, we wouldn't have a chance at lower taxes, healthcare reform would likely include more government spending rather than less, etc. We wouldn't have the twitter goofiness, but the country wouldn't be better.

So that is one out of the 60% that don't live with their parents. I'm talking about the 40% that do. Do you even statistics bro?

Yeah I get that. When you speak in generalizations anything can be true. You're not making a good point at the end of the day. The worst is that since you've built up this reputation of a fool, nobody can take you seriously.

His troll game is EPIC.
You sound like a *****. Did you go cry in a corner when they mocked you?

Sound like a *****? Not sure how you inferred that? No, I asked them why they had a problem with Americans and virtually all of them said that they felt that the US was losing its mind on Climate change or that it was joining with the Russians and abandoning Nato or that it was just becoming intolerant. I agreed with them on all accounts that our principles have become murky. This does not make me a "*****". It makes me a discerning individual, which is something you sound incapable of engaging in.

More the Democratic party fault imo

No doubt the Democrats are HEAVILY to blame for the loss to Trump. But Hillary was surging until Comey said he was re-opening the investigation which he closed again a few days later. Likewise it was Comey who failed to disclose that the Trump campaign was under investigation as well (during the election).
