Cats are gonna be around a lot longer than we are. They play with passion, stout defense, and their coach is actually into the game. We're pretty much just filling out a 64 team field.

Hoping for a win against Ole Miss..... Would be extremely unlikely to get past Virginia, but hey could happen, one game is one game....

That's the NCAA tournament for ya.

Talking with a coworker this morning I said I wouldn't be surprised if we lost by 20 or won by 20. Same thing in a sense now with Virginia. Wouldn't be surprised if we won or if they blew are doors off because we couldn't throw a beach ball into the ocean

As long as they fight.

Yep, I couldn't be happier to have "missed the ball" on this one. It amazing how KSU plays with such incredible tenacity against us (we go long stretches against the Cats in which we have difficulty even getting off a shot) and yet is so incredibly fallible at other times--like today. IIRC KSU had a senior-laden team and that experience will be very difficult to replace next season. In the immortal words of Gilda Radner, "Ya never know."

Yeah I'm not sad they're out considering they're in our region. Had we lost I'd have been all in for them to win.

Looked like the GardnerWebb was short and had no defense....Virginia is probably better than they looked versus GWebb, but having a first game that didn’t challenge them in an way may work against Virgina.....

Their style of play is not a good fit for the tournament. They play slow which plays into the hands of lesser teams.

Unless we have another good shooting game they'll likely nab us, but they won't get much further.
