The one extended forecast has it cloudy and 55-65 for the game. The inbound Pacific storm should not impact the Pasadena weather until Tue. 2nd. Model shows no rain on game day.
kc what do you see for snow in ne iowa ? We have bare ground for the first time I can remember in 30+ years; I think 12/29 will be a new record but not sure for how many years...
The upper pattern looks more active end of next week into early Jan bringing real Iowa winter weather to Iowa. A big strong Polar High spreads into Plains next weekend too so probably ice cold going into New Years.
the local weather channel says -11 Monday night and about a week of single digits and low teens (hate it). At least no snowpack allows for more warming during the days...
You should start getting a snowpack by end of next week...then that lowland glacier should stay in place a while. Long ranger climate models say cold and snowy for Iowa the bulk of the remaining winter months. Snow does give the plants a protective blanket.

No, just going up to see the mother-in-law. Music for me nowadays is for my own personal enjoyment. I'm spending more time learning the guitar than playing the brass instruments these days. The old dog is slowly learning a few new tricks.
