So IF we win tomorrow are we considered 'regular season XII round robin Champs' and then have to beat tcu again to get the Official ring ? How does this work ?

Afternoon slot has Bama-Auburn. Evening has Clemson-Miami and Ohio State-Wisconsin.
So I'm happy that they get their own slot. Next week, they get the early slot without power 5 competition.

Morning game gathers no buzz. The TV ratings will suck. We are in a hapless conference when it comes to many things. The Conference Commish is a putz.

Speaking of bbq; any old school Tulsans should remember Sutphen's. Not as good as great Q in Kansas City BUT it was all you can eat beef ribs, beans and onion rings & other sides. All a growing boy needed...
Well of all the conference's champ game, this is the least attractive. I mean it's a repeat game. But it's what Boren wanted and got. Just another reason to be glad he's leaving.
We have NOTHING to gain and all to lose in this format. Even if we win out, there is an outside chance that we are left out.
I thought the same thing. Big risk low reward game. In my mind OU is already Conference Champs, this game proves nothing and if OU loses the big 12 just screwed itself out of the playoffs with this farce of a CCG. Then again we could win and also be out.
Nothing exciting about playing a team we just beat handily a couple of weeks ago. I agree this format stinks.

The FOX network hyped this as a 10:30 ET kick all week; they forgot to add the *pre-game caveat. These b1g hacks have been yakking an hour. The Big House is impressive though
