That's funny the two guys jumped right in to reinforce what 22 posted above. The repetition boys strike again. Most of the old men as you like to call us are open minded. You two are narrow minded and stuck in the 20th century.
Open minded to what? Brennan Clay being an All-American? You aren't making sense moses

Hmm...so the posters who constantly disagree and/or troll Yankee and BW don't have a repetition style of their own? Get your head out of the sand bro.

I am as big of a Josh Heuple fan as anyone here. I supported him 100% when he was on staff. I am still a regular '14 Foundation' donor. But what else do OU fans owe him VERY much of? It can't be money. He was paid well. It can't be respect. He is forever a name in OU history and folklore. What am I missing?

If you meant "OU fans who disliked him owe him very much", then I understand the meaning of your comment. But forget about it. Those kind of Sooner fans are too caught up in self pride to say anything nice. It's just like the Landry Jones, Brennan Clay or the Zack Sanchez beefs. Being right at all cost is far more important than being a classy, respectful & supportive Sooner fan. They think it makes them look tough, knowledgeable and poised, when in fact - the opposite is true.
If you don't understand why OU fans owe Coach Heupel, I cannot possibly help you. Sorry. I find that sad but I'll get over it.

Maybe for you... of course Bob Stools fired the guy who did so well against those loaded boxes...

We've covered this, it was an educational opportunity in defense for some. Who's Bob Stools and what makes you think he fired anyone? Oh, and the OC can't pass a defense out of a loaded box, the QB has to. Let me know if you have any more questions. ;)

I'm not quite sure why you took my post wrong, but I too will get over it. I still don't know what else we owe him. I personally paid part of his salary for many years. I don't owe him any more dollars. He already has my deep respect.

Look at my previous post....he WAS our first John Frickin Wayne! I was half messing with you from my iPhone with sausage fingers. :)

Ah! Got it. I was thinking about sending him a Christmas card. And a Western Union Candygram. ;)

Yes, we've covered this. While you continue to stroke your ego, I'm fine with knowing a base 4-3 defense doesn't constitute a loaded box.

Having the QB pass his way out of a wet paper sack doesn't matter anymore. The fact is, JH got fired after the year of great play calling according to you. Obviously, Bob Stoops agreed more with those of us who recognized what was wrong with the offense than with you.

I love the ignore feature but judging by your response ptlava I'm guessing you are talking to tulsan. Lava a bit of advice for you. If you want tulsan to stick around and the board not to lose any posters then just drop it. A while back his pride took such a hit and he was so hurt by the FIRING of heupel he left the board for 6 months. Please man just drop it

Well said man. I'm assuming you are responding to ST. He will never get it. I sure wish I could dig up some of those threads from last season when ST was on his crusade against everyone who questioned JH. Looking back it's ridiculously comical to think what lengths he went to, and in the end Bob Stoops agreed with those against ST and in fired JH. The jolt to STs ego kept him from posting from that moment until after this season started. Just epic!!!! Lol

Lol ya Yankee it really was just royally epic. Good ole STs ego and reputation got totally knocked down into the dirt. After the JH spectacle and now how ST is handling it I can't even take anything he posts as credible or serious anyone. He's on ignore since it's obvious what he posts is just a waste of time and bandwidth now. All he has going for him i suppose is he acts like he is trying to be an internet tough guy by throwing around insults, which is hysterical and sad in its own right.

ST is a perfect of what Ronda Rousey would look like if she came out talking smack about Holly Holm after that royal *** beating. In STs case, his royal *** beating was being royally wrong about JH, but now he's back trying to convince everyone he wasn't wrong. What a frikin joke....

Right, and you say all this while dressed in your mamas wedding dress, loping your mule, thinking you're cool.

Mmm, not cool...

Some people freak out and lose control if you dare say anything good about the evil Josh Heuple (or Sanchez, or Clay, or Jones). It's totally weird. Those names are like Kryptonite.

Again, I have no idea of what you are saying...however, if you even had any remote status here, I might be worried about it.
Since you don't any credible status here...I'm not worried one iota.

That's the way it works a--holes.

Did fitty just quote his own post, say he doesnt have any idea what his own post is talking about, calls himself out for not having any credible status here, and call himself an a-hole??

Think about that before taking anything he says serious. His posts are more like a clown show.

Better job than USU . Thought he would have been more imaginative at OU. Don't have to be that great an OC in the SEC. Just score 28 pts per game and you have 10 wins for the most part. WS

Right, and you're such an august, well respected poster here.

Hell, even douche posters have dissed you...that's pretty damning. If I were you I'd leave and never return...dyk head.

Then again, you're too stupid to do that. We get it...

Hey don't take it out on me. I'm smart enough not to talk smack while quoting my own post. Blame yourself for that little blunder. But just remember you chopped your own legs out from under you. It was quite impressive to watch...just so you know....LOL!!!!

Fitty put down the bottle and go to bed....seriously
I don't think it's any coincidence that fittys posting generally gets more and more vulgar the later in the night it gets. It's literally like an 8 year old trying to communicate with adults, fails at it, then resorts to using language he heard mommy and daddy using when the ole domestic abuse came out in the evenings at the fitty household.

Again, your pedestrian whining isn't impressing anyone here.

May as well go to twitter or someplace like that where you can get some positive feedback...alas, you won't get that here. Douches.

That's his shtick...which oddly enough he was tying to dictate to others not long ago that THEY needed a new shtick. Fitty would be best served to look in a mirror when making that comment.

Yes, we've covered this. While you continue to stroke your ego, I'm fine with knowing a base 4-3 defense doesn't constitute a loaded box.

A base 4-3 with the safeties and corners cheating up to stop the run, as the video you and WNAS posted showed...lol. I don't need my ego stroked, but looks like you could use a little more humility.

Having the QB pass his way out of a wet paper sack doesn't matter anymore.

It doesn't?? Why, because you said it was the OC that needed to pass them out of it? Again, more humility required here. You were wrong.

The fact is, JH got fired after the year of great play calling according to you. Obviously, Bob Stoops agreed more with those of us who recognized what was wrong with the offense than with you.

We've covered this before too. Did I say he was a great play caller, or did I point out you goobers were wanting to fire a coach whose offense averaged 40 points a game when our D was giving up 35 a game? Rhetorical question given there's no way you're going to admit you're wrong. If you don't know when a defense is loading the box and you think the OC needs to pass a defense out of it versus our QB, do you REALLY want us to take you serious when you claim you know what's wrong?? Are you related to WNAS?
