Ok, I'm back. You know they have 49 cent party tacos on Thursday's right? If you join their Facebook page there are all kinds of specials. Sigh....yes, I'm addicted.

Now if that would always work, life would be grand. I can think of many situations that would get better if only it were so.

Wouldn't it?

One of my favorite old British movies is one called The Medusa Touch. It's got Richard Burton and the fetchingly young Lee Remick.
Burton could move things and make things happen merely by thinking it. It's called telekinetics.
I tried to do it but...instead of falling to the ground the bird just kept flying away...bummer.

Ha! Perhaps they're now putting crack in their tacos.;)

Paying $0.49 for a $0.02 taco product. The biggest expense of that product was the pure lard the shells were fried in.

Glad you liked them Zero. But, they used to be even better.

I wish I could go back in time and be a kid again at Krystals Pizza too. :/

They had the best pepperoni pizza I have ever ate. You couldn't even see the excellent cheese combination.....I can see me today eating that wonderful cheese......HA!

Someone from Tulsa disagree that your childhood was influenced by Casa Bonita and Krystals Pizza? Fond memories here and what I wish my kids can observe. I did manage to take them to Casa Bonita before it closed for good, but it wasn't quite the same as I remember it. :(

I remember the Stockton's grocery store that was before CB was built. There was a huge blue fiberglass super-slide in that corner in between the days of the old & the new buildings at 21st & Sheridan. One of my jr high friends' Granddad was Manager @ a convenience store chain & gave us some free slide coupon books that we redeemed for a whole Saturday of getting 'big air' off the 2nd drop.

Then when CB opened about 1/2 my class @ Hale worked there when it opened. The school adopted some very liberal class scheduling & it worked out to take like 90 minute lunch breaks a few times per week so some of my classmates & I took advantage of 'raising the flag' contests occasionally. The sopapillas were the greatest !

As for the OP, count me as one that was hopeful OU would survive the season after last year. Winning the XII was unthinkable one would think, the way the schedule was written and the turmoil of last year's losses. REVENGE was SWEET, gotta keep it going...

I wanted Mike out,,gone. It looks like moving him upstairs has helped. I think the additions of Reynolds and Cooks was a huge part of that but, I'll give Mike credit for "working well" with the new guys.
I was wrong about Mike.
Hey, we're talking about fast food on this thread. If you want to talk about OU football, go find a thread about OU football, Mister! :)
