I wonder if there is any truth to this? You couldn't blame him if he did.

Well, if he has genuine ambitions to be in the NFL, that's what he'll have to do.
I would have some truthful experts tell him if he has the upside to do that though, even then it's a toss up.

Even with all the talent that Sam Bradford has, he's had some tough nuts to crack.

The NFL is a beotch.

Whatever he does, I'll bear no grudges. He gave us the Bama Sugar bowl on a platter.

Does Trevor have enough credits to graduate? If not, can he transfer to another D1 without sitting out a year?

Trevor Knight is not an NFL quarterback prospect by any stretch of the imagination. My preference is that he can improve and get back to at least the playing level he was in 2013....and remain at OU.

It has a lot to do with whether he would rather be a Bench Warmer on an NC Team, or a Starter, with Slippery Rock...

Ya he certainly is NOT an NFL prospect type QB. If he wants to transfer, it prolly cuz he wants to play football. Barring an injury to Baker, then Trevor's chances of seeing the field outside of mopup duty is pretty much zero.

edit, just saw frou's post. Dang...sucks he is leaving, but I really don't blame the kid one bit. Hope the best for Trevor!!!

Who would have ever guessed after that Sugar Bowl that Knight would eventually get beat out and transfer. I give him a lot of credit for being a team player this year and he seems like a great kid. I still think he is a talented guy but for some reason just wasn't able to put it all together at OU. Maybe he can do something at another school. Wish him the best

Well, I wish him the best...but if he's with K-State next year on October 15th there in Norman...that might hurt him a little bit.

You reap what you sow...

QB'ing is not his calling. He's such a talented athlete and obviously rolled over in some freak genetics, that I don't understand why he doesn't switch positions to like a safety or receiver?
He's always had a Jason Sehorn kinda thing about him to me if he really is that good of an athlete.

Someone let him know he can live a life of solitude as a QB, or he can get something like this by being smart...

Angie Harmon, Law and Order.

And the reason I'm still married to my wife. As long as Harmon's married to Jason Seahorn, there's no reason to leave my current wife.

But if he's ever out of the picture...
