So, this board allows direct uploads from your photo gallery. This has been a long time coming. Let's see your pups and dogs! One of my very favorite threads over the years, I just couldn't upload mine.
Check my avatar. Enzo has been gone five years, a hell of a dog. It was a privilege to walk that dog, cars would slow down so the drivers could give us a thumbs up. Lol, he was a loving, friendly dog but his woof would freeze people.

I'd love to post pictures of my Jack I had to put down a few months ago, but the files are too big. Jokerman is actually famous in the farrier world. Rode to every barn I did for 17 years.

Keep the pics coming!

So, I was going back home to get another Springer, but my ex sent me a photo of Elsa Mae. I sent a message back, damn you to hell sending me a photo of a pup with spots on her face. She had been riding horses with the breeder and said, her dogs are the bomb on the trail. The next day, I got Elsa Mae. What a gift.

A little background on Elsa Mae's name. Elsa comes from the young girl in 1883. Mae, comes from the song, Maggie May. I just used the original English word. Also, being in the South, we definitely need two first names here. Lol

Email the pics to yourself. It will ask you what size and pick medium. When you get the email copy n paste from there. That should work

...so cats rule over both of them?
Cats are for lonely and/or angry women. Somewhat acceptable for a family with younger kids, as part of a menagerie of assorted creatures. They can be a last resort in a situation where you're stuck in an apartment that doesn't allow dogs.

Regardless, this is a puppy thread, and puppies rule uber alles.

Ozzie and Cee Cee, pit bulls. A little back story. Today is the first day in as long as I can remember that we do not have a dog in the house. These two were born 14 years ago as Brother and Sister on the Streets of Philadelphia and rescued at a few days old by our oldest who was an undergrad at Temple. After four years of the college life all in Philly, Our oldest embarked on his professional career which includes constant travel. ( Many here know Ross as a Professional Jazz musician as well as Steelheader extraordinaire, if you ever get the chance, Roll on any of the great Oregon rivers with him for an adventure or go back country snow boarding as well with him and his dogs)

Ross called us and asked if we would be willing to take the dogs while he had a six week contract. In our family, this always comes with a yes. Ten years later, after exceptional lives of bringing joy to literally hundreds of folks, Ozzie passed on May 4th from a tumor on his spleen. His passing was almost too much for his little sister Cee Cee to bear and we sent her to be with him yesterday. The veterinary practice we use, University Drive Veterinary Hospital are wonderful practitioners and care providers. If you live in State College and need a Vet, give them a call. CP Vets, the emergency care practice in State College help Ozzie on a Sunday morning with his final moments and they were exceptional as well.

So yesterday was the day for Cee to join her brother and we were in Pittsburgh. A quick call in the morning, our Vet said " of course" we drove through that storm and at 3 pm, we took Cee in along with my Sister in law and the Veterinarian staff and held a farewell party with Nutella, Chocolate and Pup cups. By four PM, Ozzie and Cee were together again explaining the new world order to everyone on the other side and hooking back up with many special dogs and people that left before them.

These two were remarkable love children and many posters here are either aware of them or have met them to enjoy their company.

Wildflower seed on the sand and stone
May the four winds blow you safely home

That's a great dog!
Thanks. My wife says she has “pretty privilege”. She’s a handful and we are not skilled owners. She’s not mean, she’s a lover, but she is very reactive. We’ve tried different trainers with little success.
